“Beautiful place! Wonderful amenities and such a lovely staff. I was very ill upon arrival (stomach flu) and had a terrible time getting to the hotel. My husband went in early (since I couldn’t function) and asked if it would be possible to check in a bit early so that I could get into a bed and rest. “Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street. Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks. Plenty of car parking right opposite”

“We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage plus a table and 2 bucket chairs as well as a dressing table and chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was bright with a good sized shower including a rainfall as well as a shower hose. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were helpful too.”

“Il signore alla reception invece di accoglierci si prolunga in una interminabile telefonata. Mi chiede di pagare nuovamente una stanza già saldata con una sufficienza inaccettabile. Dopo aver appurato il fatto (ore dopo) non si scusa nemmeno. Stanza superior che di superior non ha proprio niente. Cunicoli per arrivarci e 800 porte frangifuoco. Colazione scadente. Unica nota positiva la Signora responsabile delle colazione che è estremamente gentile. ”

“Great dog friendly room and pub to visit. We only stayed one night - it was a nice location from the new forest. Dinner was delicious, my partner said it was perhaps the best pie he’s ever had, and the included breakfast was well worth it. Only suggested improvement could be a new carpet for the room, but this is always tricky for a dog friendly room. ”
