“For a cheap style hotel located on the far outskirts of Hanoi it was surprisingly good. The rooms are large, air-conditioned and have two big double beds (hard matresses) and a small private bathroom (a bit run down but good hot water). Room even has a smart TV....but that's about it. Located in a very quiet street but very limited food options, especially after dark. We used it as a stop over from Cat Ba to SaPa which was ideal. “It was not a pleasant experience, from the moment of check in until check out. The check in process was very confusing, and I was charged entrance fee. I needed to pay buggy car, also needed to pay for the bottle water in the villa, there was this lady whose role is not clear to me asked me to pay cash. “This hotel likely had not been stayed at in at least a year. The owner was also not aware we were coming after we had made the Expedia booking. He was very kind and made it work, but this hotel, as well as the entire neighborhood around it, is completely run down and looks as if the town was shut down a decade ago.
