“Excellent location, affodable, helpful staff. Room could do with some upgrade...bed not vert comfortable, bumpy and too soft pillows. Mold in corners of bathroom tub and sink need addressing by housekeeping. It's a stay where you do get what you pay for.”

“The front desk staff were extremely helpful...the outdoor pool was well maintained and quite refreshing! and the breakfast buffet was excellent! rooms were very clean and the property was well maintained...great place to stay!”

“Room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Room was stocked with complete kitchen, fridge and dishes, utensils. Sofa seating area provided in addition to sleeping area. Substantial breakfast foods were offered as well.Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely will stay again.”

“Everything was very good about the property. Excellent bed and shower. It would have been a 5 star property with a few improvements. The breakfast was very bland and overcooked. The workout room didn’t have towels and the staff were smoking near the entrances to the pool. Very disgusting.”

“We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown...

“Where do I start… TV was inoperable, there was a hole in an our sink, the “non smoking room” reeked of cigarette smoke, trash and chairs everywhere on the property, our smoke alarm starting chirping at 4am because it was low on batteries. Overall bad experience, pay around $40 more dollars to stay in a Hotel and or nicer area.”

“Hotel room was very clean although the air conditioning unit was very noisy. I believe hotel is on the older side and might be the reason why unit was so noisy. Staff was very nice and the breakfast offered early at 6 AM is nice as we like to get on the road early. Will stay again.”
