“It was truly magical place, starting with location ending with breakfast, which was super duper tasty.. Room was clean, bedding clean, bed comfortable. Staff very helpful and polite. We had no CV with us, for the interview.. Girl did help us out, did print one, massive thank u to her, still owning a chocolate for that 🙈 The atmosphere was very nice, place with positive only vibes.. Place to comeback for sure.. 😊”

“The Old Mill is a lovely old building that has been well converted to a b&b. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and importantly for us, the windows are easily openable. Bere Regis is a small but well connected village, there are many places of interest within easy reach. ”

“Great rural location (i am not a golfer), really nice room, clean and comfortable and reasonably stylish. Only let downs were; paper thin walls so could hear quiet conversations in the adjacent rooms, and a noisy shower (neighbour showered at 1am!). it was a heatwave; room fans were provided but it would have been good to fully ventilate the rooms. Due to work commitments i had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on that.”

“We stayed at Driftwood for two nights and had a very pleasant experience. The accommodation was comfortable, and the overall stay was enjoyable. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was also very good and provided a great start to each day. We would happily recommend Driftwood to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.”

“I had a lovely time staying here, the room was clean and comfortable. We were even given an upgrade to a bigger room which was available :) I'd highly recommend it. ”

“Not worth the price unfortunately. The beds were made up nicely and comfortable but the curtains have mould at the bottom and the curtain pole isn’t secure so it fell and hurt my hand when I went close the curtains. The bathroom had empty shower gel and soap dispensers. We went out for dinner but on returning the pub door was locked as they closed early. Luckily, a member of staff was still there to let us in and then kindly informed us that there is a back entrance too which we didn’t know...

We especially appreciated being allowed to check in early, which made our arrival much more convenient. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short visit. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located and affordable place to stay.”
