“Beautiful, peaceful setting away from it all. Great for golfers & equestrians. Has a nice restaurant & bar on the premises (not open every day). Very good food and nice view overlooking the pond. About 1/2 hour drive from Lake Lure, Chimney Rock & Tryon. Friendly, helpful staff!”

“Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. “We stayed here one year ago and all was good but on this trip we were given a room with a foul odor that smelled like wet carpet. The towels and wash cloths still looked dirty and the TV didn’t work. Thankfully there was other rooms available and the staff was more than helpful to give us another room. The only other issue was that the breakfast was not good at all and food that should have been kept warm was cold. We probably will not be back to this location again.”

“The Biltmore Lodge is very much an "OK" hotel. Some of the unpleasant things about this place were that we found a daddy long leg in our bathroom, plus a lady bug by the window. Furthermore, the housekeeping staff told us they would be back to clean our room when we asked for towels yet our room was never cleaned. The breakfast was the worst part.
