Staying at this cottage was such a serene experience. When we arrived we found a personalized welcome note and treat, and could tell immediately that the hosts took extra care to make sure their guests had a great experience. They provided detailed information on the cottage and surrounding area, and both hosts checked to see if we needed anything. They make you feel like family. The scenic lake views are incredible, whether you’re inside or out. Our favorite was the awesome cozy chair on the sunporch built for two. Such a relaxing private escape from reality.

We stayed in the middle of the week, the lake was beautiful and peaceful. The cottage was very clean with all the accommodations we needed for our stay. Sherry and Mark were available if needed. We didn't need anything, everything was provided. I had reconstructive back surgery in February and was up for a long drive getaway. This was close to home and worked perfectly. Millington for a small town had three great places to eat.

Great property! The walkway from the driveway to the cottage had a retaining wall that was really leaning towards to steps. Other than that, we had a great time considering the weather!

This place was extremely clean, great view, had everything we needed. I love traveling south to the ocean but sometimes you can only travel close by. The personal touches, tasty arrival, and a fun surprise made this beautiful home stand out. It wasn’t just a typical rental for Memorial Day weekend it was a luxurious get away. Sherry and Mark are the best. Quiet time, beautiful fireworks over the lake, and Frankenmuth close by finished out the weekend. Most importantly being Pet Friendly! Bama B LOVED it here.
