Delaware Riverfront Cabin a soli 90 miglia da New York

Bella casa in stile cabina che è stata recentemente rinnovata e si trova proprio sul fiume Delaware. Due camere da letto di dimensioni uguali con letti queen size che sono fatti con le lenzuola migliori e comodi cuscini. Il bagno ha una vasca e tutti gli asciugamani sono inclusi. Completamente nominato mangiare in cucina con tutti i comfort di cottura di casa. C'è un tavolo per banchetti che può ospitare 6. C'è anche un'isola che può ospitare 5. La cucina ha ripiani in granito -Potole e padelle-piatti e bicchieri-microonde-tostapane-macchina per il caffè-frigo e stufa e forno full size. La cabina è fornita di caffè, tè e un buon assortimento di spezie. Open concept comfy Soggiorno con una grande TV a schermo piatto - Rete di piatti con film completo e pacchetto sportivo -Lettore DVD con una bella biblioteca di film- Giochi da tavolo- e una stufa a legna che è fornita di legna da ardere. C'è un grande portico con grill propano-bella sezione di posti a sedere che è in un gazebo schermato e un tavolo da pranzo e sedie. Ci sono tre buche per il fuoco, una sul lato del fiume: una alla fine della proprietà e una più vicina alla casa, tutte con viste spettacolari. Ci sono delle scale che portano al fiume dove puoi lanciare la tua canoa - kayak o zattera direttamente dalla proprietà. La struttura offre anche alcune delle migliori attività di pesca del Delaware. Si può anche fare un'escursione o andare in bicicletta fuori dalla proprietà. La casa è circondata da migliaia di acri di terra demaniale e le aquile calve sono un sito molto comune.
È una proprietà davvero unica che si trova su una strada privata, a soli 15 minuti dalla fermata del treno nord della metropolitana di Port Jervis.
La proprietà si trova a Pond Eddy, Pa, proprio di fronte al fiume di Pond Eddy, Ny. La casa è comoda per Barryville, Port Jervis, Matamoras, Milford, Shohola e si trova a circa 20 miglia a Bethel Woods e Monticello e Lake Wallenpaupack.
La cabina ha WIFI gratuito.

I love this place! A friend and I had a very pleasant fall weekend. It’s a sweet house in a lovely setting, fairly secluded, with the grounds in back sloping down to the river. Clean, with comfortable bedrooms, and living room, and kitchen well stocked with basic necessities. The host- Lisa- is very nice, accessible and communicated clearly. I would definitely return!

Oh my goodness! Lisa’s cabin Delaware River was amazing! It’s cute and cozy! The moment you walk in we felt welcomed! It was super clean also. We had everything we needed to cook a few meals at home too. The decor in the cabin is a treat in and of itself. There are so many fun things to look at, yet it’s well done. Lisa could not have been any easier to communicate with or more accommodating. She was quick to answer any questions we had and texted us a few times with ideas and events of things that were going on. Such a nice touch!

Cabin was adorable and well decorated. Had all we needed. But we were led to believe by the pictures of the property that the cabin was level with the river. There is a pretty steep ladder to get down to the river and my dogs were too scared to go down. The owner then told us we could use the stairs on the property next door. They were much better but still a hike down and up. Not for anyone with difficulty with steps.

This cabin on the Delaware was exactly what we were looking for for a couple days in the sun & the water. We started off doing a river rafting trip with Indian Head Canoes and then checked in to the house. A short walk across the backyard and down a ladder and you’re ready to play in the water. We spent our entire second day just sitting on the rocks in the river eating snacks and listening to music with our kids and dogs. The location is down a super quiet dirt road and the house is stocked with everything you could need and then some! It’s clean inside and out and the host was super responsive and kind. Beds and living room furniture are very comfortable, but the highlight for me was the back deck. Sitting out staring at the river and hanging with my family for a couple days of downtime was just what i needed. Highly recommend this place!

Overall, this is a great, cute, and clean cabin and we had a very good experience here. It was well stocked and we didn't lack anything. Lisa is SUPER responsive and helpful and was wonderful to work with. Check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. We loved all the outdoor activities, hiking, etc., available to us in the area as well as cute towns to explore. There are just a few things to be aware of that may or may not affect your experience here: (1) the one bathroom in the cabin is very small and has no electrical outlet; (2) because there is no outlet in the bathroom, I had to dry my hair in one of the bedrooms (which both do have mirrors thankfully) but the lighting is not great and made this a bit challenging; (3) to access the cabin you have to cross a one-lane bridge over the river and then a one-way gravel road a decent distance. This was not usually an issue but was a bit nerve wracking when another car was coming the opposite direction; (4) while the property is large and does have river access, it is not conducive to just hanging out and lounging down by the river...it is a small rocky area on the river's edge; (5) the cabin has WIFI which was great, but the general area around town had little to no service; (6) the area is somewhat remote...you will be driving at least 15 minutes to get to a grocery store and lots of restaurant choices; (7) outside of cabin and outdoor furniture could be cleaner. NONE of these things would prevent us from staying again, however.

Cozy Retreat with a View

Relaxing getaway, tranquil setting and comfortable cabin. Enjoyed observing eagles, turkey, deer and incredible amount of birds. We enjoyed hours on the large deck staring at the rushing river. The cabin is adorably decorated, with luxurious linens and thock bath towels. A well stocked kitchen where we cooked all our meals. Cannot wait to return!

Just what we were looking for. A quiet place to relax, unwind, and enjoy. I cannot say enough about the communication and helpfulness of Lisa and Ed (the owners). the house had EVerYTHING we could ask for. Lisa was right ....just bring your toothbrush/toothpaste and food :) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

Retreat with Mans-Best-Friend

Very relaxing and quiet. Happened to be very cold this weekend, so I opted to spend more time inside but it was nice to see the fire pit out side and picnic table for a warmer trip in the future. Walked down to the river a few times with the pups and took in the calming sound of the rolling river. The kitchen was stocked very well with more items than i expected, although I was packed and prepared for the worst lol. Over all I had the weekend I truly desired and would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, serene and beautiful time. The only constructive criticism I could give is that the sofa seemed a bit too broken in, may be time for an upgrade.

Great place - beautiful and secluded

Amazing place great location off of a private road property is as advertised. Cozy two bedroom plenty of space for four adults beautiful outside deck and direct Delaware River waterfront access. Had everything we needed for cooking. Not far from the towns of Port Jervis, Milford PA. Beautiful scenic drive to Port Jervis with lookouts and lots of hiking trails and fishing opportunities right near the property

Home away from Home

As we drove up to the house I got that warm feeling again. It was our second stay. Welcome home to me!!!! A cozy house for on the river. When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle play some games read a book by the fire place. This is the place for you. Like to fish or hunt or hike this is the place for you. All the amenities of home.
