“My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!”

“No shoes allowed from the front door throughout the hotel. So take some slippers!! The owner makes you feel like you are invading here space and makes you feel like her time is more important than the customers time. There are lots of rules and $100 potential fine if you make a sound or wear your shoes. The owner can be quite sarcastic . Lastly She was upset by the amount paid. I booked online so they set the price not me.”

“Very comfortable beds”

“The place was old which we knew but just felt dirty. Stains on the carpet and furniture. 2 cold showers. Frustrating check in and no visit from housekeeping until the last day. Breakfast room was extremely hot. ”

“Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return”

“The property was in need of repairs everywhere. poorly maintained floors were dirty and uneven. stairwell Carpets were filthy. No elevator. the connecting door to the next room in my suite had zip ties for locks. My room smelt like damp mold. Baseboards were filthy bathroom needed redoing. Grout was black. Boxspring if there was noisy. Bed linen was fine. The towels in the bathroom were very thin need to be replaced.”
