Welcome to Mountain Bear Pass — a secluded mountaintop retreat in Mineral Bluff, surrounded by six private acres of pristine wilderness yet less than 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. Here, rustic elegance meets relaxed luxury, with sweeping, full-range mountain views that are nothing short of breathtaking.

Upon entering the cabin, you'll find a mountain bear who's spirit fills the home, keeping watch from above the great room where the cooking, dining and gathering area blend into one. This custom-built cabin boasts a striking stone façade that opens into a masterfully crafted interior blending rich dark woods, vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the stunning vistas. Three stacked-stone fireplaces, supple leather furnishings, hand-carved tables, and unique artisan fixtures create a warm, earthy atmosphere throughout.

The chef's kitchen is a showpiece in itself, featuring slab stone countertops, custom wood cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, and industrial-chic lighting. A farmhouse dining table seats six, with additional space for three at the breakfast bar.

Entertainment options abound: in addition to the main floor living area, the lower-level game room offers a wet bar, wine fridge, arcade table with 400+ games, and a second gas fireplace. Both spaces feature 55” Smart TVs, but the real magic lies outside. Expansive decks invite you to relax by the outdoor wood-burning fireplace, soak in the four-person hot tub, curl up on porch swings, or catch a game on the 42” TV. A gas grill makes alfresco dining a pleasure, and the fire pit below is perfect for starlit evenings and marshmallow roasts.

At day's end, retreat to one of four well-appointed bedrooms, including two master suites with king beds, walk-in closets, and spa-style baths featuring double vanities and walk-in stone showers. The main-level master offers deck access and a 50” TV, while the lower-level master includes its own 32” TV. A second downstairs king bedroom and an upstairs queen suite—each with private baths and walk-in stone showers—ensure every guest enjoys comfort and privacy.

Additional amenities include a washer/dryer in the main-level master's closet, a level play area, and a retractable baby gate. While the road leading here is a steep climb, the reward is undeniable: a private mountain haven with unforgettable sunsets, spectacular surroundings, and memories waiting to be made.

Beautiful Home and View!

We really enjoyed staying here at this cabin. Finding it was a little difficult, but we managed to find it and it was well worth it! Will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Blue Ridge. If you're coming this way, please book this home!
