Not a great place to stay
The lady at the reception was very unpolite. Most of the room face on an inner aisle and there is no natural light entering the room. The internal light is low thus the room is always a bit dark. The sink was blocked and the water was not running down. The faucet on the sink was very caked. The shower stall had black deposits on the corners. In general the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning. The mattress is too soft.

I would give this 5 stars except the air system in my room didn't work at all and since I checked in near midnight I was too tired to call service and do anything about it I just dealt with it and stayed in a warm room. Other than that the hotel was great and the breakfast was good. Rm 127 if looking to fix the air unit :)

Very good. I stayed overnight for a concert and it served my purpose well. Hot breakfast was great. Check in and check out was fast and painless.

I needed an economical, clean place to stay during a very hard emotional time. This place was perfect. The morning breakfast had different options each morning, and served a wider variety than most continental breakfasts. The coffee even comes with pump jugs of creamer, not those little one ouncers (so yay for anyone who uses more than 4.) and the cups are decent size as well. I've traveled a lot, and I'm not one who needs much in order to sleep, shower, and sh*t. I've stayed at some really skeptical places that "show up in movie scenes," to give you perspective. LOL The rooms were clean and safe enough; just made sure door was securely locked at all times. It appears as though this hotel is a temporary home for some people. Someone was being dropped off by Lyft as I was checking in; their earthly possessions being unloaded into the lobby. Once, I was startled by someone banging loudly, forcefully, and for about 30 seconds, down the hall from me, because they'd been locked out and wanted into the room, yelling, "Let me in!!" The entrance doors around the building are all "secured," meaning, a law abiding person needs a key card to enter. However, the door I used had been in some type of "accident" and didn't fit securely in the door jamb, making this particular door a perfect entry for a non-law-abiding person to slip in without a key card. Needless to say, the hotel could use a little beefing up on the outside doors. I'd stay again.

The staff is unbeatable! I always book here when I’m in Mpls. From the front desk to the morning breakfast gal, everyone goes above and beyond to make my stay extremely comfortable. It’s clean and quiet. You can’t beat it for the price.

I've been coming to this hotel for about 15 years and boy has it gone downhill. I used to come here for the pristine clean rooms which are now full of mold peeling wallpaper and dirty carpet. ISH

It was renovated just last year. It has all new everything. We work very hard to make sure the hotel is well maintained and clean. The breakfast is fire...... however, the rooms are gross. I've been cleaning for 25 years and this hotel needs to be brought back up to a basic standard of cleanliness and then simply maintained. Nobody wants to pay $100 for a room for the night that they have to spend hours cleaning before they can unpack and relax. Period.

Nice rooms for a reasonable price. Plenty of parking and easy access. Towels were few and scratchy but easily got more. God breakfast!

What I liked: location was convenient for my purposes, staff were very friendly and immediately moved me to another room when there was a problem with the first room (shades were broken and dead bolt didn't work). The bed was comfortable, room was quiet, room was mostly clean. What I didn't like: The grout in the bathroom floor was black, didn't look clean at all; there was no window to the outside, and the room was stuffy with no fresh air; the cell phone reception in the room was terrible and the phone in the room didn't work so couldn't call the front desk from the room and had to go to the lobby to make phone calls; the safe didn't work; there was no maintenance person available on the weekend to address those problems.

Pretty decent hotel. A lot of dining options, gas, and stuff nearby. Room was clean and about what you expect from a 2-3 star hotel. Only thing that I did not like was our room was in the first floor right by the lobby and front desk. Guest and staff were easily heard and very noisy throughout the night.

Unfortunately, we had a VERY ROWDY family next door to our room. They let their kids be crazy loud and your staff could not control them. we finally pounded on their door at 3:00 A.M for them to knock it off and things did quiet down @ that point. By 7:45 the next morning they were @ full throttle again.. We have 4 kids ( not with) so we understand normal conversion. Not yelling and screaming half the night. I will never stay at this hotel again. I have never felt so unsafe. Checked out within 15 minutes of getting there with no refund. They said they cannot control the parking lot or the conditions.
