Tucked in a quiet family neighborhood between Medicine Lake and downtown Minneapolis, this cozy Golden Valley space offers easy access to everywhere while still feeling like a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Attentive, welcoming hosts and small touches—like convenient amenities and thoughtful details throughout—help guests feel cared for from the moment they arrive.

This 1-bed, 1-bath vacation rental situated in Golden Valley. is ideal for romantic getaways, solo travelers, or work retreats. This apartment boasts modern amenities, like free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the flat-screen Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi so you can stream your favorite shows. Sign in to Roku's guest mode and have all of your favorite channels ready to go. Or fire up the laptop and work with ease at the provided desk. Homemade meals are made easy in the property's new fully equipped kitchen.

Come bedtime, start your nightly routine in the spacious bathroom outfitted with a shower/soaking tub combo and light-up magnifying mirror. Fabulous. Clean. Cozy place. Everything you might need. Even an umbrella. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower. Even a high towel bar and a low towel bar for different heights of guests. Heated floors. Wonderful kitchen. Lovely outdoor area. Best hosts. So kind and helpful. Great place for short or extended stays. Centrally located and great access to wherever you might want to go.

This property is even better in person than it is in the photos, which is a rare and delightful surprise! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They are so communicative and provided so many thoughtful touches that made our stay more comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect, offering a peaceful and private feel while still being close to all the great shops, restaurants, and sights. It was the perfect home base for exploring the city and the surrounding area. We left feeling so refreshed and truly can't wait to come back. We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the area.

Perfect haven for Twin Cities visit

The house was very inviting- quietly comfortable, with plush carpets, a heated bathroom floor and a spacious kitchen. We loved the little Christmas tree and faux fireplace with mantel. We would come back from a day seeing the Cities with family and kick back on the couch to admire the holiday decor. Bed was very comfortable, and there was lots of convenient hooks and storage. Host was generous with salt and sand on the driveway and sidewalk, in the true spirit of Minnesota. Communication with host was easy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I can’t think of anything they need to improve on. The location is central. The hosts have thought of every possible detail. Immaculately clean and cozy and comfortable. But most of all it’s the attention to detail on even the littlest things that made our stay great.

A cozy getaway

This was one of the coziest, cleanest, and most well-appointed Vrbo’s I have ever stayed in. From a bedroom clock that projects onto the ceiling to heated bathroom floors to freshly stocked ice in the freezer, you can tell the hosts put a lot of thought into every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible. I came with my infant daughter, and Barbara went above and beyond to accommodate us, providing us with a pack-n-play, diaper genie, and a beautiful quilt to lie down on the floor for playtime. My primary reason for booking the Vrbo was because I needed a place to stay while visiting family who didn’t have space for us, but this listing became so much more than just a “place to stay”. I felt so cozy and relaxed here, and I cannot thank the hosts enough for a great stay and for all of the extra accommodations for my baby! Thank you!

Extremely Comfortable

Barbara and Jim’s unit is extremely comfortable. It has all the latest fixtures and technology, plus comfy furniture and bedding. Do note that you will need a car to get around as there is minimal walk ability.

Perfect retreat

This apartment is private, well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. The owners are on site, friendly and engaging, but were respectful of our privacy. The unit is located in a quiet neighborhood and was convenient for our needs. Beside the usual dishes and cookware, there were any small items available in the kitchen (dish soap, sponge, cling wrap, foil, cooking oil) - items that make it easy to immediately work in the kitchen. We would highly recommend this unit and will return if the need arises.

Gold in Golden Valley

I had one of the best, if not the best, experiences at this Vrbo. The home was clean and cozy, it really felt like home, The layout is great, comfy living area, private bedroom. Amenities galore. To get to the door, you will pass by the back of the house, so you may see the hosts, but they were respectful. I barely heard/ saw them. I had brief interactions with Barb; she was so sweet and helpful. I reached out a couple of times during my stay; response was prompt and felt she made sure I was comfortable. 10/10, would stay here again.

Amazing Cozy Retreat!

I recently stayed at this wonderful apartment for 10 days, and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how spotlessly clean everything was. The space is beautifully designed with cozy cottage vibes, and the natural light pouring in from windows on three sides of the apartment was a dream come true. The apartment is equipped with new full-sized kitchen appliances and the ultra-fast WiFi made working from home effortless, which was a huge plus for me. Despite the hosts living on site, it was incredibly quiet, providing the perfect balance of privacy and tranquility. They said they could not hear my many work Zoom meetings! The hosts themselves were so kind and friendly, always available if needed but never intrusive. A designated parking spot on the driveway, complete with a security camera, gave me extra peace of mind, especially since the neighborhood itself is very calm and safe. I loved the nearby walking paths and trails that made for peaceful evening strolls. And if you want to explore the city, downtown Minneapolis is just a quick 12-minute drive away, or you can hop on a bus directly from the neighborhood—super convenient! There are also some great dining options in the area, which made it easy to grab a delicious meal without having to go far. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back!
