“Lovely pub and restaurant with well appointed rooms adjoining. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room decor was Scandi-style - very attractive as well as sufficiently comfortable. Lovely view over the garden and beyond to the woods from my room window.”

“Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”

“The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. “Al prezzo pagato non si può avere una stanza in cui il bagno è un loculo e mancano servizi essenziali quali phon e frigobar. Il letto era buono, e anche la pulizia era accurata. Ma il water ricavato in uno spazio minuscolo e angusto è assurdo. Colazione appena sufficiente e quasi limitata all'essenziale. Al prezzo di € 170 a notte mi sarei aspettato molto di più. Bocciato assolutamente.”

“This is a single room detached building beside the host’s house and it is absolutely delightful. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has lots of big fluffy towels, there is coffee and tea in the room. The weather was warm while we were there but there is cross ventilation and a fan, and we were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the beautiful garden. I would highly recommend this for a couple wanting a quiet place to stay that is convenient to explore the Salisbury area.”
