“Absolutely a slice of paradise on earth! If the Garden of Eden and Swiss Family Robinson had a baby it would be San Simian! Food was best we’ve had in all of Nicaragua. Amazing property with unbelievable terraced gardens down to the pebble beach, where you can go tubing, kayaking or swimming. “This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. “We booked the upstairs apartment, which has two queen beds and a very spacious bedroom with a TV. It includes a kitchenette, a small fridge, a dining table, and a living room with a TV. The AC worked perfectly in the bedroom. Everything in the apartment was spotless and very well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. The food was delicious, although breakfast options were somewhat limited. However, there are plenty of great places nearby where you can enjoy a tasty meal. The hotel was spotless and felt very safe. Best of all, it’s centrally located within walking distance of everything. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.”
