We arrived at the unit with family in tow. Our guest found hair (and lots of it) in the shower. To make it worse, guest looks up and there is a used razor on the shower rack. Additionally, hair also found in other shower and bathtub. I called the manager the following morning as we had arrived late. Mistake. Spoke to agent who had house keeping call me. They came out to “clean” the affected areas after she politely suggested that I had forged the pictures because their “ time stamped photos” show a pristine bathroom. After I recovered from the offense of her suggestion, I very plainly stated that was absolutely not true and I would much rather be enjoying my vacation instead of talking about dirty bathrooms in a CONDO rental. If the bathroom (s) are dirty what else can one reasonably expect to be clean. To compensate, she said maybe someone came in the unit after the previous renters left. Now, why would that be reassuring as a suggestion? How “secure” would one feel knowing they have a code but apparently others do as well and can come and go without notice?
Anyway, I was told they would call be back to discuss how to “ make it right” after the partial clean was completed. No luck there. Spoke to second staff. She promised I would definitely hear back in 24-48 hours from her personally. It’s been nearly two weeks. I would never recommend this team rental company. They don’t value customers. They don’t value honesty and they don’t value adhering to what you promise. Cleanliness is foundational for hospitality. It was deeply offensive to find a dirty unit and then have it Dianne’s.
