Fantastic stay

The property was clean and very nice. There was room for everyone. The pool house is an extra added pleasure.

The bathroom to bedroom ratio was really nice for a large family vacation as well as the cleanliness of the property however; it is right off the highway you could throw a ball and hit the highway and an easy 10 minute walk to the beach (make sure to rent a golf cart), the bunks for the kids were very wobbly and unsecure and we noticed one frame was broke on the bottom, additionally during our stay water leaked from the light in the living room and when we contacted the host they proceeded to ask if it was an emergency (like umm duh) and then proceeded to tell us that it’s because we overflowed the tub upstairs when the tub hadn’t been used only the shower. I sent multiple pics across the ceiling of water spots no where near the upstairs tub. They then proceeded to say they have known ac leaking issues after saying that they didn’t have any ac leaking issues. What a joke. For the price we paid, i would have expected the property to be closer to the beach. Also the pool is like a standing pool only the pic is very deceiving. Be prepared to bring all your own paper products like tp, paper towels, dish soap and trash bags as none was left for us to use and then they expected the dishwasher to be ran but we had to go buy the soap. I think there are other pretties that give better bang for the buck.

Overall this property is better than average, with room for improvement. The property is directly adjacent to one of (if not the most) busiest intersections in the Destin area which results in rather excessive noise at times. The walk to the beach is more than a couple of blocks, and there is no parking area to drop off anyone with physical challenges. Last, the pool is actually a plunge pool (approximately 6ft X 10 ft). None of these things can kill a good time, so we enjoyed our stay!

True to online description

Our family loved the place and location. The beach was in walking distance and the pool was a great size for the age of the children that came. A few issues were, the upstairs area was super hot and stayed hot. It seemed as though the AC was not working for the upstairs. There were some broken items already when our family arrived, (refrigerator part, washer/dryer door) I was worried we would be blamed so I took pictures just to be safe. The lights did go out only in the downstairs master bedroom which seemed odd, but came back on once we called the Rental office. Other than that, it was clean and loved the private studio master room.
