“I cannot say enough good things about Travessia. The location is absolutely stunning, the food is amazing, and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Travessia is truly a place to get away from it all and I am so appreciative of our time there. We loved that it was an eco-lodge using solar energy and was also working with the local community to be a force for good. We travel a lot, but this may be my favorite place we have ever stayed.”

“The owner was very hospitable and even let us start a few hours past check out as our flight was at 2pm. Colleen also arranged for a lovely cultural tour at our request. It’s a very nice place and the included breakfast was made to order and delicious! Not some bland breakfast bar. “We booked two standard rooms over New Year based on Hotels.com descriptions. Whilst our stay was okay - the standard room was not like the Hotels.com description. There was no TV in either of our rooms, we didn't get water even once (despite asking), and the dustbin in the bathroom had previous occupant's litter in it - YUK! When we asked for TVs (as per hotel.com description) - they found one (no remote) for one of our two rooms but it could only play content off our own laptop. WIFI is...

“The location is lovely, but the chalet itself was in a horrible condition when we arrived. It was extremly dirty and not in a good condition. The stuff and owners were very helpful, but that place definitely needs an upgrade. It is not a 3 star accommodation. ”
