This lovely home is situated in a quaint residential area, just a short drive from the Western coast of Sicily. Made up of a stunning main villa and two separate annexes, there is lots of space for large groups of family or friends to spread out. Spend your days swimming in the pool, relaxing in the garden or venturing out to the nearby tourist hotspots.

Inside the villa, you’ll find a contemporary, fresh interior and stylish décor consisting of cool artwork and beautiful ornaments. Each bathroom is uniquely styled, with colourful tiles and intricate decorations. If you enjoy home cooking, you’ll love the modern kitchen which is equipped with everything you need to cook something delicious. The whole house is designed to give you comfort, with cosy furniture dotted throughout – ideal for relaxing after a long day.

With a large exterior, sun lovers have lots of space to catch some rays. The inviting pool is ideal for cooling off from the warm weather and the garden is the perfect place to enjoy some alone time. Make special memories with loved ones dining al fresco, indulging in food cooked in the outdoor kitchen area or barbecue.

Nothing beats a seaside holiday. Thankfully, Villa Ortesi is a 10-minute drive away from a small sandy beach at Tritoni. San Teodoro Beach is also within easy reach and is a sandy beach popular with the locals and away from the main the tourist trail. Located next to a tiny medieval town, the beach is overlooked by Tower of San Teodoro and there’s a restaurant there too.

Nestled in the outskirts of a small village, Villa Ortesi is just a short distance from a range of useful amenities. With a restaurant within walking distance and a wide variety of bars to drive to, this home is a lovely place to holiday.

Go slightly further afield and there are lots of enchanting places along the bustling Sicilian coast for you to discover. History lovers will enjoy Trapani, with its stunning harbour, old church and sculptures, as well as the ancient towns of Erice and Segesta, which are full of temples, castles and museums. From Trapani, you can catch a boat to the shores of the stunning Egadi islands, where you’ll find amazing scenery and historical sites. Another brilliant town worth visiting is Marsala, where you’ll find fascinating yet beautiful salt pans that stretch across the shore.

Location:

Villa Ortesi is located in a lovely residential area, a short drive away from the sea and both sandy and rocky beaches. The nearest restaurant is within walking distance, where you can experience a taste of Sicilian cuisine complimented by a glass of red wine.

Trapani is a vibrant city with a beautiful coastline and in-depth past. Its shore is made up of rocky cliffs and a beautiful harbour. A stunning church called Chiesa del Purgatorio sits north of the harbour, surrounded by unusual wooden sculptures that form part of the city’s Easter parade. Climb the hill to reach Torre di Ligny, a 17th-century watchtower with breathtaking panoramic views. To find out more about Trapani’s fascinating past, visit the Museo di Preistoria e del Mare, a museum full of archaeological artefacts.

From Trapani, you can hop on a ferry to reach the stunning Aegadian islands. This picturesque cluster of five small islands is full of beautiful beaches and rocky shores where you can relax with a cool drink or ice cream. History buffs can take a cable car from Trapani to reach the historical town of Erice dotted with castles, gardens and even a museum.

There are lots of incredible places to explore in Sicily. Segesta is an old town filled with archelogical sites, including a fascinating temple and Greek theatre. For something a bit different, head to the coastal town of Marsala, which is home to incredible salt pans and a salt museum. You can reach the city of Palermo by car within an hour and a half, which is full of restaurants, bars and museums –  perfect for a day trip.
