The location is actually a 5 star as it is situated close to the freeway and right at an outdoor mall that offers all kind of stores, restaurants and amenities. “During the 3 night stay, no room service was provided, even though it was requested. No additional pillows were provided, even though they were asked for. A center coffee table in the lobby collapsed on top of my foot. The table leg had previously broken off and it had been precariously slopped back together with glue. The bathroom had black mold on the bottom. The smoke detector alarm chirped for 2 nights with no resolution, even though we requested it more than 3 times along our stay. While...

“The pool is big enough to swim a short distance. The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the ocean, where there are lifeguards and also a restroom. Guests had free use of beach chairs and beach towels. ”
