Great hosts Mark and Dawn
We were greeted with drinks and cake when we arrived the room was spacious and set up ready for our dog when we arrived both mark and Dawn clearly love dogs so if your thinking of bringing your pooch this is the place to bring them .

we'd come again!
We were very comfortable in a handsome traditional room. Breakfast was generous and I'd have no hesitation in recommending to others. Hosts were attentive and welcoming, especially Mark!

Great welcome even though it was just inside the door, (a bit cramped). Good to be offered refreshments after a long journey. The room was adequate, the bed large , although the pillows slipped between the headboard and mattress , comfortable though. The bathroom sink was small and cramped as the shower screen hampered movement. OK for a one night stay.

Hi, thank you for your review, which we appreciate is your personal view. We do try to greet all guests and make them feel welcome. Tea/coffee etc is always offered as well. The room is quite large and the bed is kingsize. The issue with the pillows slipping through has been resolved with the addition of a filler piece on the headboard. The bathroom sink we cannot do anything about as it is dictated to by the position of the bath etc. We have had no similar feedback from other guests. But may try to re-configure over the winter months. This room is a favourite for longer stays especially this time of year and we have many repeat guests asking for that room. Unfortunately it sounds as though it just wasn't for you on this occasion. Best regards Mark and Dawn.

Excellent B&B
Stayed for one night en route to Oban the welcome was warm and friendly and the complimentary tea and cake was very nice touch, the room which was front double with ensuite shower was very good, and the excellent breakfast before we left next morning everything was absolutely brilliant many thanks and we will definitely be booking again next time we're up that way.

Mark and Dawn are very friendly, welcoming hosts. The room was warm, comfortable and very clean. As mentioned by other visitors there were some tasty home baked treats with the tea making facilities which were a lovely addition as was a small thermos of fresh milk provided on arrival. The breakfast options were many and beautifully cooked. We heartily recommend a stay at No. 29.

Went up to Moffat on 27th December 2018 for a wedding at nearby Auchen Castle. Lovely little town with decent pubs and food choices. Accommodation and hosts excellent!

One of the nicest B&Bs I have stayed so far in Scotland. The B&B is located central in Moffat, but you can park in the streets around it. Restaurants, Supermarkets, pubs are all in walking distance. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and look after their guests. The room was great and would be big enough for a longer stay for two people. I even got some homemade cookies for my welcome-tea. I slept very well and the breakfast next morning was as good as the whole stay. If I come back to Moffat, I will definitley book here again (if vacant ;-) ). Thank you very much!

Wonderful place to stay.
This is the 2nd time this year we have stayed with Mark & Dawn. They are a lovely couple & make you feel so welcome. The B&B is very clean & the bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom & the shower was wonderful. The breakfast was great with a wide variety of things to choose from. Mark & Dawn have a great sense of humour & can’t do enough for you. We will definitely be booking with them again for next year. They are dog friendly, The rooms have tea & coffee making facilities but Dawn makes you a drink when you get there, along with some of her home baking.

Comfortable and welcoming
We stayed overnight on our way to and from our holiday, and 29 Well St was a perfect place to break our journey. Dawn and Mark made us feel very welcome in their home. The rooms have been thoughtfully equipped and we had a very comfortable and peaceful overnight stay each way. Moffat is a lovely little town with great traditional shops.

The room was comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent, but best of all, the hosts, Mark and Dawn, were really friendly and helpful. They made our four days in Moffat especially enjoyable.

Excellent overnight stay
A wonderful welcome after a long journey. Cup of tea and home baking offered immediately. Little touches such as a thermos of cold milk for our bedtime or morning cuppa.( so much better than the normal milk sachets ). Fantastic breakfast, provided earlier for us on request. Thinking of returning to area for a few days in order to stay here again.

Outstanding BnB in a perfect wee town
Great reception with a cuppa (I predict Dawn's "Millionaire Shortbread" will become famous), good-humoured hosts (Yorkshire genes!), super-comfortable mattress, powerful shower, all the facilities, immense breakfast choice (16 items for the hot breakfast) all set in the centre of one of the most picturesque towns we've ever visited. Oh, there's also a pretty cat that appears at the end of the breakfast shift. Ticks all the boxes, inside and out.

We were warmly welcomed by Mark & Dawn & offered tea/coffee & homemade cake. The room was really comfortable with chairs to sit in & all facilities you could wish for. The breakfast was great & our dog was very much welcomed. It was a shame we were only staying the one night as we were travelling further North. I highly reccomend this B&B....5stars to Mark & Dawn

Great location

Short couples break en route North
Decided to have a short overnight stay at No.29 on our way up to the Scottish Highlands and were not disappointed. We were checked in swiftly, received fresh milk and cake to have with our tea. Later we had a great quality meal at the local pub, for which we received a discount for being residents of No.29. After a great nights sleep we were cooked the best breakfast we have had in a long time. Will definitely stay again.

Weekend Stay At No 29 Well Street
I can not recommend this BnB enough, the stay was perfect from start to finish. Mark and Dawn are the perfect host you would never know they only took over the BnB a few weeks ago. They also cook the best fry up's I've ever had, with a list of all the food on offer. They couldn't do enough to help and make our stay easy. They were there to welcome us, recommended some places to eat and go and the rooms were so comfortable and and spotless. I would 100% come back and stay here again, although we came for a wedding there were lots of guest who were there for the walks. We even see a couple of dogs at the BnB which Mark and Dawn are more than happy to have stay at the BnB. Overall a great experience

Best B & B Ever!
This was a great place to stay. The owners were very welcoming with an offer of a hot drink as we arrived. The bedroom was really comfortable with ensuite bathroom. We had free WIFI and TV. There were brewing facilities with fresh milk in a flask, biscuits and cakes. Breakfast had a large variety to choose from and was well presented. We parked in the main square as the streets were very narrow. No parking charges at all.

Wonderful hosts, clean and comfortable rooms
Hosts went out of their way to be welcoming. Although Expedia made a mistake with our reservation and the hosts were expecting us the day before, they accomodated us and made sure we had a pick of the available rooms. They also provided little services like bringing us little cakes upon our arrival and providing us with a little thermos for milk. Our room was spacious and comfortable, very clean, and the shower was nicely sized (important for my tall husband). Hosts provided recommendations for dinner, and prepared a delicious breakfast. Would definitely return again if in Moffett in the future.

Excellent B&B!
We stayed overnight at this B&B while attending a wedding in Moffat. The owners Ron and Bradley were fantastic. Extremely friendly and welcoming and also pet friendly! We were shown to our room and were offered tea and coffee with cherry cake when we arrived. The room was neat and tidy and had lots of nice little touches (bottle of water each, biscuits and kettle etc.). We were also given a check list and asked to tick off what we would like for breakfast the following morning. The B&B is in a great location - right next to the main high street in Moffat. Ron and Bradley were always on hand and happy to help. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone!

Lovely B&B
Spent one night on our journey back to Devon, this was our second time visiting 29 Well Street and the welcome and comfort of accommodation was equally as good as the first time. I would recommend staying here to anyone needing accommodation in this area. Oh by the way the breakfast was excellent, don't miss out spend a night or more here.

Impossible to fault. Ron and Brad are perfect hosts. Friendly, warm welcome and determined to make our stay pleasant and trouble-free. Accommodation spotlessly clean and lovely breakfasts with flexible choices. We will most certainly be back.
