"My first stay at a Voco hotel and I was very impressed. The location was good, as I was attending an event in the city. Parking in the nearby infirmary carpark was convenient. My room was great, and very clean and tidy. The restaurant offered a varied dinner menu and a variety of breakfast options. ..."

"Arrived for a 2 night start as had an event in Burton. The systems weren't working, so couldn't be checked in till almost 12 midnight. Drove from London and could not even put my leg up. On the day of checkout, the lift was not working. The staff at reception said "just take the stairs". We had suitcase ..."

"I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. ..."
