“Room was freshly decorated and generally very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Lighting could have been a little brighter. It was cold near the poorly fitting single glazed window. Breakfast was excellent, served by a delightful member of staff. ”

You get the perks that come with staying in a hotel balanced with the “mom and pop” feel associated with B&Bs. We will be looking to stay at their sister locations for our next city break! ”

“Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. ”

“We enjoyed everything at the hotel. The rooms are a bit dated but I didn't mind that too much - it added to the charm because everything worked absolutely fine (shower, TV, kettle). The dining room is very grand and the food exceptional. The staff in the restaurant were super. Most of the staff elsewhere in the hotel were very good and welcoming. However, the service at the bar was the weakest point. I think maybe the woman was just having a bad day but she a) didn't know how to make the...

“Wonderful relaxing experience ”

“Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. ”
