Thiessow is located on the Mönchgut peninsula of the island of Rügen and is nestled between the Lotsenberg and the Greifswalder Bodden. The wide, fine-sand beach stretches all the way to Lobbe. This is the perfect beach paradise for all beachgoers eager to experience the Baltic Sea. Of course, seafood lovers will also find plenty to enjoy in Thiessow and the surrounding area. The smaller restaurants are still supplied with fresh fish by local fishermen. And if you enjoy cooking, you can buy freshly caught Baltic Sea fish directly from the fishermen at the harbors in Thiessow and Gager.
