B&B a Monchique

“Casa Rosa Montes is a gem ”

“If you enjoy a clean room albeit small and noisy and lively from the square, you’d enjoy these suites. The staff was very helpful connecting us to WiFi when it was a bit wonky and finding more comfortable pillows. The breakfast was not special, yet there was a bit of variety. The fresh squeezed orange juice was so yummy.”

“This is THE place to stay!! Just like coming home. Only 5 lovely rooms all facing the pool. Breakfast is so good and beautifully served at the table by the lovely owners. A big livingroom with many places to sit and read and a help yourself bar. We did the fisherman’s trail and the place is about 15 minuts up from the trail. A nice restaurant nearby. I can really recommend this smal lovely hotel .”

“The place was beautiful and the owners were beyond accommodating. We had so much fun relaxing at the pool and going to the beach in the morning. It’s a little outside of Lagos but definitely worth the stay”

“Very nice place and very kind host”

Once we raised this with Pedro (check in agent), he didn’t offer any apology but simply to have a cleaner come back, no compensation and our request for a room change denied as it was “peak season”. After the cleaner came, again ants and multiple stains across the bedding were still there. I raised this again with Pedro, called multiple...
