A suite among the vines
On the first floor of Villa Irene Langhe, where the old schoolhouse once held its highest classrooms, the Panoramic Suite Red now opens onto the vineyards below. Warm terracotta tones echo the building's original character, while tall windows frame uninterrupted views over the vines of Monforte d'Alba and Novello.
Like every room at Villa Irene Langhe, the suite was shaped by architect Lara Spano of LATO51 Studioarchitettura, who paired the schoolhouse's 1950s bones with a curated selection of design furniture, art and lighting — comfortable, considered, and never generic.

Villa Irene Langhe sits on the edge of Monforte d'Alba, one of the eleven villages of the Barolo DOCG. This is the heart of Barolo country, with La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and the village of Barolo itself all within a short drive, and Alba — Piemonte's truffle capital — about 20 minutes away.
