The details of this property is very misleading. Not to mention the cleanliness is off the charge disgusting. There is absolutely no handicap accessible area. The waterpark is an extra $50 person charge. The lifeguards that there if any have earbuds on their phone watching something and always never paying attention to anything that’s actually important. And sadly, and unfortunately, we had bugs in our bed that we found at 23 in the morning because we are getting bit, I should’ve known better when we first checked in in our room was dirty. There was a plane card that a guest before us had left sitting right on the nightstand That goes to show you how well it was cleaned. My child down has bites all over him as well as I do on my back I would not recommend this property to anybody not even my worst enemy and if you are a part of a third-party company that is booking this place for customers, I would highly recommend you veer away from them. Vending machines hardly ever worked not one ice machine worked in this place elevators were broke down, mold on the ceiling in the hotel swimming area some sort of bug look like a roach, possibly in the bathroom this morning when we are leaving, and I have plenty of pictures to prove of the bugs that slept in our bed with us

The booking makes the hotel sound like it includes water passes but it doesn’t you have to pay an extra $60 each person. We tried to call about 15 times to ask and no one answered. When I got there they didn’t have the room we booked and forced us to stay in a smaller bed. The water at the waterpark was freezing but my kid did have fun. The arcade only had half the games working. There’s no microwave or coffee in the rooms, half the vending machines, elevators and other things are broken or dark.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Staff & a Perfect Birthday Stay – Splash Universe Dundee My mother and I brought my three children and my niece to Splash Universe Waterpark in Dundee, Michigan for an overnight stay to celebrate my 6-year-old’s birthday, and the experience was truly memorable. I want to personally thank the lady working the front desk, who was absolutely exceptional—welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. The lifeguards on duty also deserve recognition for keeping a watchful eye on all the kiddos and helping make the waterpark feel safe and fun throughout our stay. And a very special thank you to Jared—the man of the hour—who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was over the top. His attention, care, and effort did not go unnoticed and made this birthday celebration extra special for our family. Thank you kindly to the entire team. We can’t wait to come back!

I wouldn’t even give it a star!!! Was not worth $500 would have targeted to go to Kalahari, ended up having to buy waterpark passes that I thought was with our room when we booked it! Place was very dirty, had to switch to 3 different rooms our fridges didn’t work mold all in the fridge, water park closed at 8pm all food was closed at 5.. arcade was a rip off cheap stuff for kids to pick from… one and done will never go back! Water was freezing at water park! Our kids lips were blue I wouldn’t even get in it was so cold…a lot of hazards in the water park, big slide down other one worked but no one up there telling kids when they could go so they were just jumping in and going down and running in the people that haven’t even made it off the slide! Worst hotel and water park ever!!

I get that we stayed on New Year’s Day, so we anticipated very little staff being onsite and had no plans for the water park on 1-1. The room was nice and clean, but no linens, no towels provided. Was told by the 1 person working the front desk we should have brought our own. Continued our stay on to Jan 2 because it was a Christmas gift for our 5 daughters to find the water park in very rough shape. Very cheap grating on edges of pools to the point another guest fell through and broke her foot. We will not be staying again and I’d advise anyone to avoid this place no matter the cost.

The water park was closed, so the kids used the pool. With other kids until some of the staffs kids who are there ALL the time, LITTLE kids came jumping in cannon balling there were very small children in this tiny dingy pool, so my kids were over it, the room was gross, curtains ripped apart, bathtub was disgusting, we didn't stay ended up leaving shortly after the pool, waste of money, didn't even stay!!!

The lady at the front desk was very rude. We had issues getting the correct amount of wrist bands for the water park. We were definitely over charged. My room was dirty. Candy and wrappers on the floor. Old toilet paper rolls on the floor in the bathroom. Hair in the beds. The room had no towels in it to shower or dry hands. When I asked for some, and said I needed a few to shower, dry hands and wash cloths, the employee said wow….. my family stayed in a separate room that was also filthy. They close the water park whenever so don’t look at the times on line. Multiple broken arcade games. The whole place feels like a scam. They don’t care about the customers. Do not waste your money.

Upon check-in, the front desk staff was extremely rude. We were sent to two different rooms before finally receiving one that was usable. The first two rooms were dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. The third room was clean, but the bathtub was full of standing water and the room was freezing. When we contacted staff, we were told the heat had been turned off to cut costs. Our reservation was supposed to include water park passes, but the front desk refused to honor this despite it being part of the booking. The manager repeatedly promised incentives to make up for the issues, only to take them back or change the terms later. The water park itself was understaffed, rundown, and felt unsafe. The public bathrooms were filthy and not maintained. Lifeguards were inattentive, walking around with AirPods in and using their phones instead of actively monitoring guests. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel room was nice and the pool by the lobby was good. The waterpark on the otherhand was terable. We took our son to the water park for his birthday but due to the water being so cold he wasent able to enjoy it and only spent about 45 min in the water. There was also no food or vending machines just a small overpriced gift shop and a broke down arcaid. We spent both days pretty much shoping due to the water beeing so cold. My advise to you is dont wast your money on this place. I shold of spent the extra $ and went somewere enjoyable (grate wolf lodge or kalahari) you live and you learn.

Upon my arrival, there was an issue with my booking, as my Expedia purchase stated that water park passes were included but they were not. Although I had to pay for the passes, the receptionist was able to give me a nice deal on them. The heat also was not working in my room, however, the receptionist again handled the issue and upgraded my room, which was very generous. The room, however, was not clean (hair in bathroom, food crumbs and stains in kitchen and bed, stained shower curtain, personal items left behind like a sock and other clothing garment). Overall, my small children enjoyed the amenities, but the facilities were outdated and everything closed between 7-9 pm.

Main water drop was cold, only 1 of 2 slides were open. The food court was dirty. Wouldn't eat anything cooked there. Room was ok but bathroom tub was dirty.

Room was ok , the whole place needed updated no breakfast have free coffee but it was always empty and seemed like a hassle to ask for them to fill it then conveniently ran out of creamer and sugar. Vending machine was very expensive

The check in was great, the front desk lady was very nice and let us get in our room a little early.The room was outdated and the blankets were terrible. Luckily my granddaughter knew this and we brought our own. We thought there was a microwave in the room but there was not, I asked if we could get one and was told that they would bring us one but they never did. There were very loud people next door on both sides ,walls were very thin.Would not visit again.

Room was definitely neglected and it was lack of staff. I got to the room and it definitely was not cleaned. Looks like only the towels and toilet were clean and they probably vacuumed. The sink was not clean along with the tub, dresser, inside and outside the fridge. The couch had a stain on it and I had to switch the entire bed sheets out. The remote was filthy as well. If it wasn’t for my son’s birthday, I would have checked out. He wanted to go to the waterpark. I lifted the mattress to check for possible bed bugs. Thank God at least in my room it wasn’t. The mattress looked new. That the second reason why I stay. If it was then immediately I would have checked out. Luckily, I always keep cleaning supplies with me when I travel. I went up to the front desk got all new sheets. Cleaned the entire room and bathroom. I was on my hands and knees cleaning that tub. Again had it not been for my son’s birthday along with us being from out of town, I would NOT been doing that. There was only one hanger in the room so I had to hang both our jackets on one. I did not realize until later on at night. When it came to putting the top lock on the door that it was broke. I literally had to put the ironing board under the door handle at night just to feel somewhat safe. I told the staff at the front all the things, mind you we’ve only been there now at this time for about 7-8hours. She did offer me another room but I was not about to clean another room, change sheets etc all over again.

We went there for two nights and was going to spend one day in the splash Park but when we found out it was $60 and we saw the facilities we decided to pass. We went to Cabela's instead and had a good time. There was no coffee ready at 7:00 a.m. and I had to wait 10 minutes for it. The staff was okay. The bed was extremely comfortable. No room was very nice for the price.
