“Les Valades is perfect for a holiday in this beautiful area of France. It is clean, quiet and has everything you need. The owners helped with bike hire before we arrived and easy to contact throughout if we needed them. The house is in a quiet area, overlooking fields where you spot deer, wild boar and birds of prey but is only a short drive to Issigeac (which is just wonderful) or Bergerac. We loved our stay and would highly recommend Les Valades.”

We spent a wonderful restful week at their lovely cottage. Ideal location for exploring the many Bastide villages in the area. “The Gite at Tremolat must really be one of the best places that we have stayed and for us sets a benchmark to measure all others. A beautiful holiday home in such tranquil settings near the Dordogne was a treasure to find. The hosts were so helpful, allowing us to store our bikes under cover and sharing their ideas of places to visit. “This is a fabulous property so close to Bergerac. Serge & Beatrice are extremely welcoming hosts, who have put a huge amount of work into the pool and garden as well as providing outdoor games and bicycles. We spent most of our time at La Salagre out by the pool. Heated to approx 24 *, with beautiful planting, lots of sunbeds, both it and the immaculate garden are outstanding.
