A Very 'Pleasant' Oasis Steps to Lake Hebron + Town

'Pleasant House' is a second level apartment that is centrally located to all that Monson, Maine has to offer-- you are just steps to Lake Hebron & our adorable town! Whether you’re a hiker along the Appalachian Trail, ATVer, leaf peeper, snowmobiler, lake goer, or here to just get-away... you’ve come to the right spot! This modern apartment includes 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen & dining area, living room, a BBQ grill, firepit, and two off-street parking spots!

**Monthly rate offered October through May! Send host inquiry with what dates you are looking for!**

This building is a duplex; it consists of a first level apartment where the host lives and a second level apartment. When you book with us, you are renting the second level apartment of this duplex that we like to call 'Pleasant House'. Pleasant House underwent an extensive renovation in 2024! To enter your beautiful Pleasant House, there are five steps up to the main door of the duplex, then one flight of stairs up to your private entrance. You are provided with a private entry, living room, dining room & kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, BBQ Grill, firepit and two off-street designated parking spots.

-When you enter the apartment, the first room that you’ll see is your LIVING ROOM. It includes a sofa, one sitting chair, a coffee table, and a flatscreen TV. It’s the perfect area to read your favorite book! Or... stay in and watch a movie on the TV. You’ll have access to our Netflix account under the “Airbnb” option, along with many other applications such as Hulu, Amazon Prime, Youtube, etc. that you may sign into by using your personal account.

-Your KITCHEN and DINING ROOM is filled with natural light overlooking a slight view of Lake Hebron. This space includes a full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, oven, electric range, dishwasher, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and 6-seat dining table. If you prefer to cook your meals in, the fridge and freezer are both full size and are great for storing all your groceries. The coffee/tea station includes a Keuirg coffee maker, k-cups, tea, creamer, sugar and sweet n’low. You will find plates, bowls, drinking glasses, coffee mugs, wine glasses & wine opener, silverware, pots and pans and basic cooking needs such as salt & pepper, and a fully stocked spice rack. The dining table is perfect to enjoy your meals or perhaps, if you work remotely, it's a nice place to work!

-Your BEDROOM located off the dining room consists of a queen-sized bed, night-side table, mirror, and clothing rack for hanging items.

-Your BEDROOM located off the kitchen consists of a queen-sized bed, 2 night-side tables, mirror and clothing rack for hanging items.

-Your FULL BATHROOM has a full-sized stand-up shower, sink, toilet, mirror, and open-shelving for bathroom storage. The bathroom is located off the kitchen in between the two bedrooms. Reserving for 3-4 guests? Please keep this in mind: If you plan to take 4 showers back-to-back, we recommend 2 showers back-to-back, give the water heater 30 min to an hour to reheat and then you can take 2 additional showers back-to-back. Thank you for your understanding, this is how the water heater works in this unit. Thank you in advance!

-Your BBQ GRILL is located on the left side of the house on the small porch. This is a propane grill and is available for your use only during your stay! Feel free to enjoy the two outdoor chairs as well. Please note this is shared with the owner who lives on the first level.

-Your FIREPIT is located in the back of the property. We provide you with one bundle of firewood for your stay. You'll find outdoor chairs for your convenience. Please note that this is shared with the owner who lives on the first level and if there is snow on the ground, the fire pit will not be available.

-Your OFF-STREET PARKING is located on the right side of the driveway. We can accommodate up to two vehicles parked one after the other and will provide you with step-by-step instructions on where to park prior to your arrival.

-You are approximately 250 steps to LAKE HEBRON from Pleasant House! There is a public boat ramp and dock for your enjoyment.
