Wonderful home for a vacation at the beach. The host has thought of everything. My family spent the majority of time outdoors. With three hammocks, a hot tub, fire pits in the yard and at the beach, a swim platform, and beach toys, we were well occupied! The awning of the deck was perfect for relaxing under on the comfy outdoor couch and chairs. The flattop grill was a huge hit and we made most of our meals on it.

Wonderful Property & Location

We had such a great week at this beautiful house!! We've stayed at several rentals right on Lake Michigan before, and this was by far the best for easy access to & views of the beach from the house which was great for us traveling with small kids and older parents. Tons of beach space!! The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Whitehall was a quick drive from the house and had several great food options! Loved seeing all the deer every night on our drives back from dinner! Would absolutely stay here again!!

Sweet Retreat

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! This cottage was in a beautiful location, peaceful, relaxing, and it felt like home - our every need was provided for. After 4 nights of staying here it was difficult to leave. When I asked my daughter if we should make this place an annual tradition she said, "how about once a month!" We are so appreciative for the chance to have stayed here, and we would love to someday make a trip back!!!!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautiful Michigan beach house! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The layout was perfect for our group, with plenty of space to relax, cook meals, and enjoy time together.The highlight, of course, was the location—just steps from the beach with stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and easy access for swimming and sunset walks. We also loved the outdoor seating area and fire pit, which made for cozy nights under the stars.The hosts were kind, responsive, and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. You can tell this home is loved and well cared for. We made great memories and would absolutely return for another stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway location

This place has everything you need. The views and amenities are amazing. The owners are very attentive & gracious. Clean and pristine! The beach is outstanding. I cannot say enough good things. Just ended our second time on memorial weekend here and it never disappoints!

Great Family Trip with Amazing View!

This house was great for a family trip with two little ones. Easy check in and out process and the owner is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Super clean and well stocked with everything you need. Private beach and view was amazing! Hot tub was very hot and the perfect spot to watch the sun go down.

Beautiful home and views

Our hostess couldn't have been nicer. Everything was taken care of and Kayla was so thoughtful. I would recommend anybody looking to get away to go here or if you wanna just have some amazing views and a beautiful home was lovely amenities.

Amazing rental house with beautiful views

We had an amazing five day stay at this house in August. The view and proximity to the lake was amazing. We went multiple times a day! We also enjoyed dining on the deck and enjoying a fire at sunset. This house is a gem and we can not wait to return! We have two young children and this house had everything that we needed. This rental made vacationing so easy.

Beautiful beach house with great views, soft sand and shallow water with calm breezes make for wonderful kayaking and paddle boarding, with equipment for both that come with the property. Beautifully decorated and very clean, well stocked with staples and cooking utensils. Great on property amenities from grills to hammocks to hot tub. Wonderfully kind host with great communication. Will definitely look to return again.

Absolute Heaven

My family had an amazing week at Kayla and Gregg’s Lake Michigan cottage. Plenty of space for six to sleep and laze around. Gorgeous beach for days of swimming and sand castle building. The hot tub, fire pit, multiple hammocks, and two gas grills were all put to use on our trip! Sunsets from the deck are just spectacular. My family enjoyed the seclusion of the property and how friendly the neighbors were when met on the beach. The black flies on the beach only bothered us one day out of five and Permethrin spray kept them from biting us. Fruit flies were obsessed when food was out but our family made a game of it with a bug zapper racket. Both of these are seasonal and day by day in the region anyways. Kayla has truly thought of everything and is the best host; both having provided all the little things that make a house a home, and being super quick when responding to texts or messages. My only advice for future renters is to make sure all the containers you bring to store food are air tight and to plan to make a cooler your “midwestern beverage fridge.”

The house had everything we needed! Very clean and all kinds of extra things in case we forgot something. But the view is where its at! Not many places can beat the view!! We will be back!

Great cottage with a fantastic view and private beach

What a fabulous location. We thought the VRBO photos looked too good to be true - wrong. This house is located right on the beach with nothing to obstruct the view of the gorgeous sunsets every night. The house is very clean and well-stocked with everything you need to have a great & relaxing vacation on your private beach. The sand on the beach is like powdered sugar - no annoying stones or pebbles to scuff the bottoms of your feet. We had a great time and the hostess, Kayla, is very responsive and returns emails within minutes if you have any questions. We all loved this cottage and highly recommend it - we will rent it again!

Perfect Lake Michigan Retreat!

We couldn't have asked for a better house and host! Check in was easy! House was clean! We walked in the front door and there was our Lake. We haven't been home to Michigan in 14 years and this was beyond what we'd hoped for. Seclusion was delightful! Naps & sunsets on the deck. Kayaking into the sunset. Long walks on the beach. Plenty of supplies (towels, plates, flatware!). The hot tub was especially nice on a chilly evening. The house was bigger than the photo's even show. There was never a time that the 6 of us felt like we were on top of each other. A table big enough for all to enjoy a game together. There isn't enough that can be said in praise. Probably the biggest is that we will book again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
