“We loved our stay. It is such an elegant home with a nice connection to Canadian history. It was expertly updated and is extremely comfortable. Elizabeth and Glenn were consummate hosts, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Parking is easy, location excellent. We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. “I read the other reviews before booking and I thought that I would be able to handle it. I've traveled all over and stayed in some really disgusting hostels so I thought the room wouldn't be so bad in comparison. I don't mind the stains on the chairs or the holes in the comforters, as long as the sheets are clean (which they were), but the smell of the room was terrible. Someone had obviously smoked a lot in there. The shower curtain had mold all over it; those are not expensive to replace...

“Nice clean hotel. Main public areas and hallways have been updated, on site restaurant was lovely as well. Our room was older, clean ,but older. Showed signs of wear,( paint chipped, cleaner stain in bathroom by sink) but overall nothing of concern, esp since it was 1/2 the price of staying closer to the airport. Breakfast buffet was great as well. Staff was super friendly and helpful also. Great option to stay at. Recommended”
