Renovated A-frame cabin on 5 acres in gated Clifftops neighborhood on Monteagle Mountain.

The cabin is easy to access near the neighborhood entrance, but is secluded and not visible from the road. Enjoy a full kitchen with new appliances and quartz countertops, gas fireplace, dining nook and large open deck with fire pit overlooking a creek.

Downstairs:
1 bedroom - queen
1 bathroom - walk-in shower, washer/dryer
living room - sleeper sofa, fireplace w/gas logs, large screen TV, dining nook
Kitchen - stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, pantry, coffee makers (keurig & 12 cup)

Upstairs: (via spiral staircase)

Clifftops is a 2,000 acre gated residential community with facilities such as a pool, tennis courts, man-made lake, pickleball courts and various trails.

This A-frame cabin is perfect for a couple’s getaway, young family, as well as retirees like us. The gas fireplace (with remote!) instantly slows your heartbeat. But if that doesn’t do it, head outside to the gorgeous wraparound deck that overlooks a babbling brook and beautiful forestry. If you need it, it’s there. Just pack your hotdogs and marshmallows and enjoy this remarkable cabin located in a gated community. Btw, each property is separated by acres of beautiful forestry and long-winding private drives. You won’t hear anything that isn’t provided by nature. Property manager Whitney was outstanding, and provided quick response to a question we had! Private lake was a bonus so take your fishing gear! Will book this property again!

Perfect mountain getaway with all the amenities

We had a terrific visit to Clifftops and really enjoyed our stay. With two boys ages 6 and 4, this was the perfect spot for our active family. We took advantage of exploring in the stream, fishing in the lake and playing on the beach nearby plus enjoyed the proximity to great hiking trails, nearby restaurants and the University of the South. The rental had everything we needed - we especially used coffeemaker, fire pit and all the family games. Highly recommend for families.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It is very neat and clean and very comfortable. The host left a list of best places to eat and visit. Clifftops has a lot of amenities with little towns close by. Only 1 1/2 from Nashville! I highly recommend!

Nice, clean, convenient to W&L and VMI. Apartment is just what we needed for visit. Well stocked kitchen, roomy living spaces to hang out. And walkable to downtown and both campuses in Lexington.

Amazing secluded retreat conveniently located.

We throughly enjoyed our stay over the long Independence Day weekend. The location is convenient to grocery shopping, the interstate, great restaurants and attractions in the area. We felt very comfortable in the gated community. We attended a concert in The Caverns and it was a quick trip back to the chalet. The kitchen is well outfitted. The decor is great. The deck over the stream is fantastic! We ate breakfasts and dinners outside without being attacked by bugs. There is a blower for getting leaves, branches and other debris off the tables and chairs, which was very helpful after rainstorms. Check in & out were easy and we were very pleased with our stay. Chris & Whitney are great hosts!

Great place, all around!

Very welcoming, feels like hone type of place. Everything you need is provided including kitchen supplies and other comforts needed. For instance, they provided laundry detergent, coffee, etc etc.... This is a perfect spot for 2 groups of people, or 3/4 single people. Big deck if you want to do outdoor activities. Beautiful little creek outside. Nice tv, ac, bed, shower, No complaints at all.

Great cabin in Clifftops

Nicely updated A-frame in Clifftops is great for a small family and the host was great! Clean, well stocked with the basics and more (Solo stove, firewood, bbq grill, etc). House was very clean and has a nicely renovated bathroom. All in all the best way to get into a charming house in Clifftops with all the access to pool, lake, playground, pickle ball courts etc. at a super reasonable per night rate for Clifftops. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Perfect woodsy getaway

We loved the secluded cabin in Clifftops! This property came fully stocked with everything you could have needed! Host was prompt with entry/ check in instructions and checkout was a breeze! Couldn’t recommend this enough!
