Giuliano - Holiday apartment with pool

BEFORE BOOKING:
Please read the description below to get all the informations you need to know before your arriving!
IMPORTANT: our place is reachable only by car! So you must have your own, otherwise you need to rent one! Our property is located in the countryside and up on a hill, public transports are in Montelupo Fiorentino (5km from our place), so you can only reach us with your own car.
What to pay at your arriving (cash only): cleaning fee 40€ and tourist tax (0,50€ per night per person over 12 y.o.). At the check-in you will be asked to show your personal IDs in order to be registered at the local authorities website (all the local hosts are required to do this from Florence authority).
Beautiful apartment of 50 m2 located on the 1st floor (25 stairs to climb) of a two family house. Originally a farmer hayloft from the 14 century, now restored in a green valley rich in vineyards, with a private outdoor garden (20 m2). One air conditioning recently added, located in the centre of the living room. Striking ceiling with exposed beams, typical of the Tuscan apartments. The location of the property, near the village of Montelupo Fiorentino, known for its pottery production, makes it easy to reach Florence (25 km), Fiesole (32 km), San Miniato (22 km), Pisa (50 km), Lucca (60km) and Siena (55 km).
Inside the apartment: Living/dining room with double sofa-bed (oven, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster), 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom, free wi-fi, tv, private parking, swimming pool, barbecue, washing machine inside the apartment (for a fee), dryer (shared and for a fee). We don’t provide any kind of food (and no oil). Towels and sheets are included. No beach towels are included: please don’t use our towels for the swimming pool and use your personal beach towels, this will help us maintaining them sanitized and clean for all the guests.
Access to the pool and to the playground is by stairs.
All the outdoors spaces are shared (pool, barbecue, gardens, etc.) with the other guests.
Every kind of pet is welcome!
Pay attention to the access road: The road to access our property is unpaved and uphill, through a forest to then get to the top of the hill, where our structure is located. Don't worry, any kind of can ride it! Just proceed with caution, going slowly and paying attention to the holes! The road is public and owned by the municipality, which is why it is not possible for us to manage it or to do any work to fix it. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience this may cause, unfortunately it is not up to us (believe us, we have tried in every way!).
The owners live in the property, close to your apartment.
The apartment is totally private, which means that you don’t have to share spaces inside the apartment, but only the outdoors ones. We have three apartments total for holiday home and they all share the outdoors spaces, like the swimming pool, the barbecue, the playground and the gardens. We have very big spaces, perfect for keeping distances, relax and enjoy your vacation with your family and friends!
If you have babies and need a cot and an high-chair, please let us know when you’re booking. Both are included! EXTRA GUEST: If you will be 5 guests and will need an extra bed, we can provide a folding bed. It will be 15€ per night per person and if you insert the total number of guests that will be already counted with the total amount when you’ll reserve.
The pool is shared with the other guests and the owners, it’s closed from the beginning of October until the end of April and it’s not heated. During the summer months, the pool is also used by our friends and relatives. We organize occasionally lunches or dinners and we would be very pleased to have you as guests!
Please be respectful for all the other guests: we all share the common spaces so please be tidy and clean, respecting all the spaces.
For any necessities you can contact the owners who live right in front of the apartment anytime. During the entire period of your stay, for any need or if you need any kind of information, do not hesitate to contact us!
To reach the property and to move around it is strictly necessary to have your own vehicle, as the property is located outside the city center and on a hill. After the main road, to reach the apartment you will have to go along a dirty road (about 800m) quite steep that goes up to reach the top of the hill, until you reach the gate of the property. Watch out for holes! It passes through the woods and it’s not a paved road. It’s not very hard to drive it, you just need to go slow and be careful.
Upon your arrival you will be given, together with the apartment keys, a small remote control to allow you to open the gate independently. In front of the apartment you will find a private parking at your disposal.
