“Great place to stay. Bed and Breakfast in an old, updated house. New mixed in with old. Air conditioning worked great. Made to order breakfast from a number of choices was wonderful. Nice, friendly owner was very accommodating.”

“It is located in the country. It was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Since it is run by a private family, I would recommend calling ahead if you are going to arrive late. There were walking trails, and farm animals to look at. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, Breakfast was very good.”

“The outside was not impressive. Looked old & plain. The inside of the room was old (it used an actual key & there wasn't a USB plug to be found) but it was clean & looked properly maintained. The AC worked well! The bed was too soft for my taste but that's a personal opinion not a knock. I was staying hear for a weekend up at Snowshoe & up on the mountain even the cheapest room would be twice what I paid here. I was not uncomfortable & I'd stay here again. “gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps.”

“Great unit for 2 people. Pictures and descriptions of property is accurate. Host is very responsive. Loved being able to get into unit on arrival and not having to wait till 5pm or after to access unit. Great location. Unit is very clean with well stocked kitchen. Would stay in this unit again.”
