Maestosamente situato su Point Lobos Ridge, questa casa offre le più incredibili viste acque bianche e mare di Carmelo e Pebble Beach che si possa immaginare. La casa è posizionata per sfruttare le meraviglie naturali della costa centrale. Provate il microclima caldo (15 gradi più calda di nebbia Carmelo), che si sta per arroccato sopra la nebbia. Albe e tramonti sono 360 gradi e Carmel Village illumina la notte sotto come il modo nebbia filettatura attraverso la Valle. Migliaia di acri di California State Parks spazio aperto circondano la proprietà, con escursioni di fronte all'oceano a Point Lobos State Park, all'ingresso della strada che porta alla proprietà. This is a magical place in all aspects. The view was incredible and the house had everything we needed. We were content staying at the property all day but it’s also close yo so many beautiful sites…point lobos, Garrapata, Carmel, etc…. I will definitely be staying again. Thank you for an unforgettable weekend stay!

This was the most magical place to stay. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking, the photos don’t do it justice. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and it was the perfect escape from the city. The place is extremely cozy and roomy, and it has everything you need to cook out - we made steaks on the grill and the setup outside made for a perfect sunset dinner. Location is super convenient right across from Point Lobos if you’re in for a hike, or 10-15 min to Carmel if you’re looking to go explore there. One thing I would recommend is getting there before sunset - the directions to go up to the property are easy to follow, but it’s extremely dark and windy roads. Will hopefully come back again soon, we absolutely loved our stay!

It was a well appointed home. It had everything we needed. The views were amazing. Our dog enjoyed the house as well. And Lou was a very responsive host. The process of checking in and out was easy. We will be back.

Beautiful views of Carmel-by-the-sea and Carmel Valley. Location somewhat inconvenient due to a 2 mile uphill winding narrow road that is in disrepair. Quiet and secure.Mattress rather soft. Took 2 dogs and yard not fenced so had to be on a leash when outside.

We felt like we had stepped back in time in the cozy home, except with all of the modern amenities and luxuries! This "vintage", cozy home was so welcoming and so comfortable. We even had fresh flowers on our arrival. It is a drive up a mountain a bit and out of town but the respite from busy days was ideal for us. Would love to stay here again!

Magic Little Cottage on a Hill

What a beautiful little cottage overlooking Carmel and Monterey bay. We shared a warm long weekend with our family. The fog and fireplace were lovely.

First time in Carmel

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The views were even more appealing than the listing can do justice to. We really enjoyed being inside and outside while we were there and taking in all that Carmel and the surrounding areas offered. Lou was great to work with throughout the process. Heavenly views

Just as advertised. The property was well maintained with a comfortable rustic charm. The kitchen was excellent and the beds comfortable. The location was just amazing. I’ve been all over the world and this is one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever visited. Would definitely recommend 6 stars out of 5!

Breathtaking!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home high in the hills overlooking the ocean and Carmel. The photos in the listing give you just a hint at the stunning scenery that envelops you - it was unbelievable. The home itself was comfortable and well appointed, nicely decorated. I really appreciated the privacy. It had everything I could have wanted for my stay. I loved it so much I started planning my next trip while I was still there. Spectacular!

This house feels LOVED!

This is a lovely house, with a great kitchen for cooking! Also the bathroom is so nice, with heated floors and bidet, quite a step up from your typical short term rental. Lou was very responsive whenever I had a question. It’s in a beautiful location but it is a bit of a drive to get up there (price to pay for peace and quiet and a view!), just so people are aware.

Great Christmas stay

A beautiful home to stay in, in all weather, set in extraordinary landscape of sea forests and wildlife . We had a wonderful family Christmas , great cooking , open fires in the evenings and walks along the coastal paths and beaches.

Perfection

Heaven on earth! Looking out I loved seeing the ocean to the left while my husband enjoyed the mountains to the right. We were so comfortable and the views so special that we were never in a hurry to leave. The pots of plants inside and out added an extra touch.

Unique property with panoramic views

Grew up in Carmel. 30 yrs worth. I can say that the location and privacy with fantastic views of the Pacific/ Carmel and Mission Beach are outstanding as well as views out Carmel Valley. Charming home that has a wonderful kitchen along with nice bath and comfortable bedrooms. Having stayed in just about every location and type of homes on the Monterey Peninsula, I can say that this property is special. The drive up the hill to the top takes about 5-6 minutes. Not bad. From the bottom of the hill your are 5 minutes to groceries and dining. The owner is responsive and polite. A real pleasure ! Bring your binoculars...

Lovely!

Lou’s house just never disappoints! It’s our second stay and we loved it! The kids love it. The location is fantastic and warmer than in Carmel. House is clean and wonderful to star gaze as there’s no light pollution. The fans worked well to cool the sleeping rooms down. It makes for an unforgettable get away!

Felt like I was on Cloud 9. This is definitely the place to go to relax and enjoy the true beauty of God’s creation. And at the same time, shops and great restaurants were a mere 10 minutes away. This home is well equipped with lots of nice upgrades. My favorite being the heated bathroom floors. The owner is quite responsive and a really nice guy.

Dreamy Carmel Escape

Quaint with amazing views. We enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and the patios around most of the property. The rosemary was blooming and a friendly lizard came out daily to enjoy coffee with us. Super bonus was that we were above the fog most of the time and enjoyed watching it roll in and out. The road way up is long and winding so glad they warned us ahead of time.....it was worth it:)
