“Overall, this house left us wishing we had paid more for a more comfortable stay. The beds were pretty uncomfortable, the house was so rudimentary that every step upstairs was very loud downstairs. “Huge room with a nice balcony, bed a little hard like everywhere in Costarira. Breakfast really good. Restaurant not so good. Only bad thing are the birds (a lot of them!!) singing at 5 in the morning...”

“No AC, not needed, well ventilated, big ceiling fan. HUGE room, saw several parrots and other beautiful tropical birds out of the window. Fantastic staff, they were able to help us clean our laundry for a very low price. Great food! Perfect for families-gorgeous little find in the mountains for the price. Very worth it. ”

The most important being that there was no air conditioner but instead an evaporative cooler which doesn’t really cool down the house, especially the bedrooms. “The entire experience was awkward. We had to contact the front desk, and awaited for directions. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAD WHILE BEING IN COSTA RICA... WAS NON-EXISTENT. The place smelled moist and probably I would give it more stars if the place had good blinds but everybody could see inside our appt. No privacy at all.
