“First, I want to say the hosts were very kind and welcoming—that part of the stay was genuinely appreciated. However, the listing is quite misleading when it comes to amenities. There is no spa or hot springs, and there is no on-site restaurant or bar as suggested. The property itself feels more like a converted family home that has been turned into a bed-and-breakfast, with former kids bedrooms now rented out individually. “The property definitely needs some TLC. Next to none nearby good food or drink. Bathrooms smelt like urine. I've stayed in historical homes before that didn't smell as bad as this one. My room was 80 degrees and wouldn't go down in temp. No friendly staff to greet you.”
