Hotel per fare shopping a Monti Blue Ridge

“I was told by the reservation clerk that I booked a smoking room. When I showed him my reservation was indeed a non smoking he said he booked me in a 2 queen non smoking room in a smoking building. He did not tell me that I need my room key to advance the elevator to my room. I stood in there thinking I was stuck until someone from an upper floor advanced the elevator. “Had an unexpected stop in Staunton, VA due to tire problems… booked the Blackburn Inn last minute to stay over and get van new tires. Pulled up and thought we were at wrong place. A beautiful historic colonial building looked like a college campus but was the Blackburn Inn. I researched and found out it used to be a hospital built in 1800’s. Very clean, well maintained and restored. The front desk allowed me to keep my room till noon on checkout while waiting for van repair. Only...
