“The directions are not clear for guests arriving after sundown. Google coordinates would be best. Also after almost an hour of searching I found the very small green sign that said Wunder Camp before the Domes sign. However, I never checked in bc upon arriving the mud was so sticky and thick around camp due to heavy rainfalls this past week. I understand the weather and nature, but maybe applying gravel, sand, or wood chips on paths? I even paid the additional pet fee, but I didn’t want to deal...

“This is a private property with a great view of the Abajo mountains. It is a great base camp for exploring ruins, petroglyphs, national and state parks in the area. Ft. Abajo is a very comfortable home to come back to each night and they have an informative guide book to help you plan your days if needed. The town of Monticello is quieter than Moab, it had everything we needed, and it was nice to get out of the crowds.”
