Gîte au Bois des Riots, Tameron, Montillot, Yonne 89, Burgundy, near Vézelay

Open year-round, our gîte is located at the gateway to the Morvan, ideal for exploring the region, including Vézelay, Avallon, Clamecy, Auxerre, and Chablis. The Gîte Rural au Bois des Riots offers a peaceful and rejuvenating stay in a rural setting and warmly welcomes you for a nature getaway. Our gîte, attached to our home, has been completely renovated to offer modern comfort while preserving its rustic charm. It has four bedrooms, three with private bathrooms, and quiet relaxation areas, including a lounge and sitting area. The living room and fully equipped kitchen are located on the first floor. In summer, there is an outdoor covered swimming pool and a playground for children aged 2 to 6. 2 picnic tables are available on the terrace with barbecue(s) upon request. Our gîte is located in a rural and agricultural area. A peaceful place surrounded by nature. Sheets are not included - please contact us for availability (additional charge applies). One of the bedrooms does not have a bathroom. There is a sink and toilet in the first floor room. You will need to share the shower with the other bedrooms in the gîte. For an extra moment of relaxation, access to the jacuzzi is available as an optional extra. Contact us for more information. You may see Charolais cows, and occasionally deer and foxes in the fields surrounding our gîte. A bonus: Deliveries from the village bakery to the gîte are made on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. Approximately 3 km away: Small local shops (Post Office, Bakery, Cheese Shop). Between 12 and 15 km away: All shops (supermarkets), Hospital, Doctors, Pharmacies, etc. Forest walks on site (on foot or by mountain bike). Nearby: hiking, fishing, horseback riding. Rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking, hot air balloon rides. Barge rental without a license in the Nièvre (Tannay, Chatillon en Bazois and Dompierre). Cultural outings to Vézelay, Avallon, Clamecy, Bazoches, Noyers-sur-Serein, Toucy, Chablis… Visit the castles of Burgundy: Bazoches, Tanlay. Discover the Guédelon park and the Aubigny Quarries. A region to discover for its gastronomic and wine heritage (Bailly Cellar, ...). Morvan Regional Natural Park nearby. Waterfalls: the Gouloux waterfall and the gorges of Narvau in Lormes.
