"The hotel is not downtown but the Metro Station Namur is very close! Rooms are large with good beds and large bathrooms. Staff is helpful and h24 on duty. Free Parking if you are driving. Breakfast or lunch are available at the B&F restaurant inside the hotel (open until 15:00) or in a few fast food places nearby. The swimming pool is a good relaxing opportunity during summer. Negative points for tourists: No hotel vending machine at all for drinks or snacks. No laundry options (inside or nearby). During your stay, if you need to clean your shirts, you must go downtown!"

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Newstar. Our room was clean, and the air conditioning worked very well, which made the stay comfortable. One thing to note is that the windows in the room cannot be opened. The neighborhood is quiet and offers many restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Reaching downtown Montreal is also very easy: bus 32 stops conveniently close to the hotel and takes you directly to the metro. But we had a car and used it. Overall, a comfortable stay in a peaceful area with good services nearby."
