ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE COMMITTING

Overall, this property had potential. However, after arrival/check in, a few issues not mentioned in the rental process came up. Namely, workers were still on property installing stone to the top step outside the solarium at the back door that led to the yard and water. That was not a big issue, VRBO's host asked us walk around the house to access the back yard. Once the workers left, a clean up crew showed up to take the garbage. I was asked not to use the top steps to the back yard as the stones were not set til the next day...no problem. Then I get a message after i'm in the house that I can't use the solarium just off the kitchen. I was told the previous renter had caused damage to a support beam. Not sure when they sent a structural tech to inspect that since no one else was there except the tile workers. I was also advised after arriving in Montreal that the hot tub that is in the solarium can only be open between May and August, something not disclosed previously. I will never rent the place again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone because of the lack of disclosure prior to committing to the rental. I have photos that I can post that are time stamped as well as email and messages that I received to support my issues. I won't add photos because frankly, I don't want to support this property.
