“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lakefront house. It was clean, comfortable, very quiet and peaceful. The small lake was perfect for kayaking and paddle boating or just sitting and being still, watching the fish jump and even perhaps catching a sight of a bald eagle fishing. The kitchen had plenty of space and everything needed for whatever you wanted to prepare. “Had another great long holiday winter weekend at this property with friends and family. Easy access to Elk Mtn for skiing, fun playing on the frozen lake and cozy evenings by the wood stove and TV. Long dirt road to get there but wasn’t hard to navigate and still a close drive to general store (Cables), convenience store/pizzaria (Arlo’s) or restaurants (The Beacon) for weekend needs. “Loved the old world charm combined with comfortable modern conveniences. Excellent location on the lake that offers good swimming and views. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big plus as were the yard games and extra refrigerator. My family, who lives in the area, came for a barbecue. The parking and spaciousness of the yard worked well. The property is an easy ride to local attractions and wonderful morning walks. Host was very responsive and positive.
