Really would not recommend this property. Overall, it was “fine” but for a luxury resort it fell well below other resorts we stayed at in Tahiti.
On the good side...The room was clean and breakfasts and one dinner we had was great. Snorkeling was great and saw a lot of different fish, rays and at night lots of sharks to look at too.
On the not good...first issue was that when we first got there, had three different reception people say “oh, your with expedia...as though we were some second class guests. Big picture felt like we were staying at a “hotel” and not a resort. Our private pool was nice but a lot of bird poop. Had to ask about everything and really didn’t get great recommendations for things like restaurants (the one we were told to go to ended up requiring a reservation and we had to sweet talk the owner of the restaurant to get us a table). The day we were leaving we had grounds crew running their weed wackers for 2 hours outside our room (9-11 Am). Last issue, we were really tight making our connection to get over to the island on the ferry and when we called to find out if there were other options, got an emphatic “no”...which was ok but then no followup or assistance on how to ensure we would then get there first thing in the morning. Again had to ask (and know to ask) everything. We ended up making the connection so that worked out.
All in, if we were paying non 5 star prices the resort was great. At 5 star prices...meh...wouldn’t recommend
