Il lago Rathbun è uno dei laghi più grandi e più belli dell'Iowa con oltre 11.000 acri di acqua, 155 miglia di costa, invitanti calette e ottima qualità dell'acqua. Questo combinato con il bellissimo legno di quercia e hickory e migliaia di acri di prati nativi restaurati, offre un ambiente meraviglioso per godersi i grandi spazi aperti. Ci sono 21.000 acri di terra pubblica che offre nuoto, canottaggio, caccia, golf, piste, otto parchi, marina e parco fuoristrada ATV. La cabina ha un grande ponte parzialmente coperto nella parte anteriore e un anello di fuoco nel cortile sul retro. Un mazzo ti porta anche fuori dalla porta sul retro, offrendoti la massima privacy in quanto sei circondato da legname su tutti i lati. La cabina ha anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice, lavastoviglie e frigorifero full size, WIFI con streaming live e film Hulu. Si trova su due lotti che confinano con il lago Rathbun nella suddivisione Antler Acres con accesso privato a un sentiero per il lago.

We enjoyed boating and fishing on the lake. It was too hot outside to enjoy a backyard fire but would have if cooler. The place was clean and perfect for our family of four. Would stay again.

We had a great time here! The walking path to the beach was nice, but it was getting a little over grown the farther we went in, but easy to find and follow. The beach had some weeds as well, but the dogs enjoyed cooling off in the water. The ticks were bad, but thats expected. The dogs are treated, but we forgot our bug spray. Fortunately we were able to drive about 10min into tien to the bp gas station and purchase some. Overall, it was nice, quiet area for a weekend away.

This place was perfect for our needs! Four of us stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every thing about the rental house. Owners VERY quick to respond after I lost the door code to enter. LOL.

The home was beautiful and amazing . Quite , peaceful location . Amenities provided was wonderful . Love the barbecue, patio , and yard . The backyard fire pit was wonderful for s’mores . We will be returning and definitely will tell friends that this is highly recommended to stay for a retreat ! Thank You for such amazing experience

Enjoyed our stay. Check in was smooth. Cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen for family dinners. Sheets and towels were clean and well stocked. Enjoyed hiking to the lake and family time around the fire pit. Would definitely visit again. Thanks again Scott!

I stayed here with my mother and daughter- We enjoyed staying at the Deer Run Rental. We were in the area for a wedding at Emerald Hills Events so we were busy and didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked but I would absolutely return in the future. It felt very homey and comfortable inside with plenty of cooking supplies and a grill, comfortable beds, and even extra blankets and beach towels. Very quiet, lots of nature to see, the path down to the lake was beautiful we enjoyed wading and walking along the lake.

Excellent property close to Lake Rathbun. House was clean and in a nice area with easy access to get the boat to the boat ramp and plenty of room to park it in the evening.

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a bday with family and friends. The cabin had everything we needed and the location was great. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and etc. We really enjoyed it and plan to hopefully return next summer!
