  • Tucked away in Blockley, The Glen is a characterful Cotswold stone holiday home that sleeps six guests, in three bedrooms, with three ensuites and a separate shower room. A labyrinth brimming with antiques around every corner, this quirky three-storey property has a unique layout with the wonderful benefit of two kitchens, one of which is perfectly situated on the ground floor for al-fresco dining. With the scent of roses drifting through the summer air, take a moment to potter around the glorious garden with well-established perennials and a choice of seating; it is an oasis for those needing a peaceful trip away. The Glen is a superb property for family and friends to gather together and enjoy all the property has to offer.

    This three-bedroom holiday let in Blockley is perfectly suited for those looking to get together with family and friends, exploring the local countryside and eateries. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

    Open fire, two armchairs, two two-seater sofas, two pianos, desk, shelves with selection of books, coffee table, TV, DVD player and French doors to the back garden

    The maximum occupancy for this property is 6 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 2 additional infants (aged 2 or under)

    Off street parking is available for up to 1 car, with additional on street parking nearby
    1 travel cot and 1 highchair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)

Family weekend

We had a lovely stay at The Glen - very clean and warm and just what we needed for our family weekend. Great pub just across the road and we visited Hidcote Gardens which were lovely. Would recommend this place.

Lovely place stay

We really enjoyed our short stay at the Glen pre Christmas , the cottage is roomy and yet quaint with a well stocked kitchen . The village of Blockley is beautiful with friendly resident's.

A great stay with family

Beautiful and clean cottage in Blockley, very impressed with the garden and the lovely home. Would come back again with friends in the summer, but was also very cosy and warm for the start of the Autumn months. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook on all three nights we stayed. Beds very comfortable and lovely bathrooms. Thank you for a lovely stay

Wonderful property

Perfect in every way, property is well equipped for all your needs. Beautiful location all the local people are so friendly. We had a lovely stay bed's are really comfortable,kitchen has everything you need to self cater and gorgeous garden to relax in. This was our second stay and would definitely return.

Lovely stay in beautiful accommodation

Very well equipped and spacious accommodation - it comfortably accommodated us all - 6 adults. Everything you could possibly need was in the kitchen, and in fact in the whole house. The weather was good so we were able to sit out in the lovely garden too. Beautiful village location with easy access to the surrounding countryside and attractions. Definitely would recommend The Glen

Home from home

Wonderful stay at The Glen. Facilities were excellent. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and very spacious. Beautiful gardens. A good location for touring the Cotswold. There are stairs to consider going down to living room and up to attic bedroom. Overall, a very comfortable and happy time at The Glen. Thank you to the owners for sharing their wonderful home.

Fantastic

I have just had the best holiday ever, The Glen is beautiful, so clean, a welcome pack was left for us, we couldn’t stop saying wow, all rooms were en-suite which was perfect for us, it was so quiet and peaceful in the large garden, there were deck chairs and a bbq in the shed, the kitchen wanted for nothing brilliant large fridge and a freezer, great cooker and so many pots and pans, the beds were so comfy I took photos so I could buyone for home, the quaintness was what we like in a cottage 100% satisfied with every thing, I can highly recommend it and would go again, the walks round the village were a bonus terrific x

Beautiful house in superb location

We had a fantastic weekend in the Glen, such a well-equipped kitchen and everything we could need. We all loved the place with its nooks and crannies and old beams, felt right at home and didn't want to leave. The place was immaculately clean. We had one problem with a broken loo seat, phoned the number and spoke to Chris who was round with a new one immediately. Could not fault it at all. We hope to be back.

Beautiful home

This was a great find and perfect place to stay for a weekend away. This home is super comfortable and well equipment for a larger group of guests. Ideal for both adults and children. The garden was stunning and the only downside for us was we had terrific rain all weekend, which prevented us using it to its full advantage. The house was well located in a beautiful Cotswolds village, easily in reach/walk of a hotel/restaurant , pub and cafe/restaurant. The walks round here are great and straight into the beautiful countryside. I’m sure we will be back again soon enough.

Second visit!

Second visit to the Glen. Tired lounge sofa and lack of the nices touches such as throws let the place down,These days there is a lot of choice around and we have used alot of holiday lets and mosy really do make the extra effort with extra touches ,sadly not at the Glen.Kitcthen is well stocked and was 2 lovely local pubs ,if this was a Hotel we was hoping for 5 star but would rate 3.,owners/renter needs a fresh pair of eye's, freshen up a bit and those extra touches would bring us back a 3rd time

Beautiful property in a charming town

We stayed for two nights at The Glen and had the most wonderful time - the house itself is beautiful, including the garden. The kitchen is well equipped with any cooking utensils one would need. The private parking is also ideal. Blockley is such a charming place, we'll definitely be back.
