  • Casa privata fronte lago con darsena entro 5 minuti da uno stato all'altro e meno di 45 minuti da Asheville. Questa grande casa sarà perfetta per l'intera famiglia / gruppo. Ancora meglio questa casa è ottima per tutte le età in quanto è accessibile ai disabili e ha un terreno quasi piatto per il lago. Il piano principale vanta un grande maestro con bagno privato. 2a camera da letto accanto alla sala da bagno. Vengono fornite le lenzuola, gli asciugamani no. Cucina spaziosa e aperta, sala da pranzo e soggiorno. Al piano superiore è una grande area soppalco con 2 set di letti a castello e 4 letti singoli. Al piano inferiore, godetevi la tana e il bar completo con 6 posti a sedere. Anche un tavolo da biliardo, molti posti a sedere, camera da letto e bagno completo. All'esterno goditi la vista sul lago sul ponte posteriore completamente coperto, parzialmente arredato con posti a sedere per 10 persone. Patio versato sulle linee del seminterrato con più posti a sedere. Bellissimo paesaggio e pozzo del fuoco. Buco di mais I giocattoli del lago includeranno canoa, paddle board, un assortimento di galleggianti e 1 kayak per 2 persone.

The home offers everything. Nicely kept and a exceptionally well stocked kitchen. Beautiful landscaping ,easy walk to the dock and swimming. Fishing seems to be the challenge. Our host Marianne was exception. Any question was immediately answered with much help.Will be renting again next year.

This is the fourth year my family stayed in this house. Age ranges from 17 to 83 and we all love it! It is perfect for families and is in a great cove for swimming. We’ll be back!

We all loved this property. Plenty of room for all 14 of us. We found a hiking trail just down the street. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Great trip for our family ages 75-5. Kids loved the game room. Comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake. We will be back.

The Perfect Lake James House

This is the perfect house for a family vacation on Lake James. The kitchen is well equipped. The top floor is perfect for a group of kids. We all loved the bottom floor pool table and record player. The dock it great to swim from and it located in a peaceful cove. This is our 3rd time staying here and plan to return every year.

We were there during the off-season. The view out to the lake was nice. The house is older and in need of some continued updates. Some things had been updated recently, but others still needed considerable work. There was also an unpleasant smell in the house because it hadn't been used in a while. The house was clean, and the beds were fresh and comfortable.

Lake James Retreat

Location exceptional and property is outstanding. Kitchen was well equipped, and beds were comfortable. Minor concerns about cleanliness and condition of stereo equipment. People with mobility issues need to be careful when using walkway to lake. Overall loved the experience.

Family summer vacation

We’ve always wanted to visit Lake James & it is a beautiful mountain lake. The home suited our needs well. Plenty of room to spread out. Loved the three decks. Thoughtful kitchen items, well stocked & organized. Wonderful landscaping. Boat dock was a little closer to neighbors than I prefer. All in all a great house for groups to enjoy.

Lake trip 2023

Location is perfect. Older home with dated decor. It is def a family home with lots of mementos everywhere. My son loved the records and pool table. Nice sloped walk to dock. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable except for Queen. It had a def roll in middle.still gave 5 stars because location is perfect, had paddle boards, and no steep walk to dock.

Well Equiped Large Lake House

We have never stayed at a property that had as much supplies as this one. So well equipped it was like home away from home. Lake area/cove is clean with excellent swimming for the kids. A little tight with neighbors docks but okay. House is large with plenty of space. The upstairs sleeping loft for kids was nice to have. House to water was not steep and easy to access.

Family vacation

We had 13 people ranging in age from 17 to 80 years old. Everyone had a bed and slept comfortably. The loft was perfect for all the “kids”. We enjoyed swimming from the dock every day!! The kayaks and paddle board were also a big hit. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals each night. We highly recommend this property, it’s quiet and the view was amazing!!!

Summer Holliday

The property is accessible to everything we needed (Food Lion/Dollar General/Pizza) great for a large family or two families with older teens. Our kids enjoyed playing pool, using the kayaks and SUP. The landscaping is stunning! We enjoyed the 4th of July, grilled out - there is a well equipped kitchen. Stopped by Bones Jones for a delicious meal and next time we’ll bring our pickleball paddle to reserve the courts around the corner. The water temperature was perfect for swimming/floating. Lake life is the best life.

There was construction going on at both houses beside the property. The noise started at 6:30am until 7pm most days which severely impacted our peace and quiet. There are a lot of docks in the cove, some of them are very tallThe swimming and fishing were good. The pool table needs repair on the corners and new cues are needed and other inside games like darts need replacement. There should be a ramp built for easier access to the water with kayaks or canoes. The canoe needs repair or replacement and one of the kayaks needs replacement. The deck needs power washing due to the sap dripping down from the overhanging pine tree. The sap becomes extremely sticky during the heat of the day. The outdoor tablecloths should be replaced or power washed. The kitchen pantry was very well stocked as were the cooking pots, pans and utensils, etc. The coffee pot worked well. The bathrooms were good. We enjoyed the vast record and cd collections. The bar refrigerator freezes everything. We loved the old school decor and feel but the attention to these items would make the stay that much better.
