Spacious, cozy, private, and convenient!! Private home on a 12 acre estate. Minutes from downtown, the town center, and a 5 minute walk to Mario’s Fishbowl. Wildlife abounds with deer and birds (including turkeys and hawks) frequenting the property. Enjoy the twinkling lights of Morgantown below you at night and lush greenery around you with the surrounding forest.

Great Location

Emily is a gracious host and is on top of her Carriage House. We've stayed there multiple time and will again. Can not beat the location and Uber Access to all WV functions. Can't wait to revisit during Football season and Graduation. Thanks! Greg

Roomy and clean house in quiet area

Very quiet house to stay while accompanying someone undergoing hospital stay. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and flexible as we were not sure of how long our stay would be. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms quite large.

Cozy house on a beautiful lot.

The house had all the amenities to make our stay a fantastic experience. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms/baths had plenty of linens. The grounds were beautiful especially with the leaves changing color. Will definitely return when we visit again.

Great base to explore the area

Our stay was enjoyable. The property was very comfortable and clean. It was a great base from which to explore the area (Cooper’s Rock, the WV Botanic Gardens, the WVU arboretum and Morgantown itself). The property was really quiet and in a beautiful location at the end of a lane overlooking woodland.

Baseball Getaway

The pictures of the "Carriage House" do not do it justice! 600 B Preston Road went above and beyond our expectations. The house itself was roomy, comfortable, cozy, and immaculate. All the various amenities were modern and in working order. The surroundings were spectacular. Although secluded, it was only a short drive to happening "High Street." My son plays baseball for the Black Bears and the property was close to the UWV Stadium. We traveled to Morgantown to catch a few games, and visit our son. We were not disappointed by the Black Bears or the charming "Carriage House." My ten year old grandson was enthralled with the scenery and wildlife. If we ever find ourselves up that way again I know where we will be staying. I am recommending this property to other players' families who may be traveling to Morgantown to watch their sons play this summer. We enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing change from Florida's scenery and weather. Thank you for sharing the "Cottage House" with us!

Quiet spot in the middle of Morgantown

We wanted to explore Morgantown and surrounding areas for a few days. Emily's place is absolutely amazing. We could walk around on the property, saw deer every evening and enjoyed the cozy feeling of the Carriage House. Go eat at the Fishbowl - their grilled cheese is awesome!

Home Away From Home

Needed a quiet comfortable place to stay in Morgantown to take care of my son who had an unexpected and sudden medical crises. The home and hosts provided excellent care and made us feel welcome. The house had everything that we needed during our extended stay. Emily was very supportive and her family and fur babies were a blessing to us all. We highly recommend this quiet and secluded little hide away for family gatherings and extended stays away from home. Thank You Emily for helping us get through a very tough time and inspiring us with your Charming Carriage House and Beautiful Family!!!🌻🌻🌻

Amazing Hideaway

My wife, father and I went for the Blue and Gold game. This was an amazing spot to stay. It feels like it is its own island yet so close to downtown. Everything was perfect and we needed for nothing. The host was great to work with. This will not be our last stay. We are already trying to plan our next trip.

The property is beautiful. Its has beautiful grounds for walking around and the lights of Morgantown look beautiful at night. Emily was extremely helpful and kind! Absolutely would stay again and will definitely be recommending!

Great Stay

Emily was very accommodating! She responds to questions and is right on top of everything you could need. We are host ourselves and appreciated everything Emily does to make guest comfortable. Charming family cottage with privacy

Emily is incredible. She quickly and completely answered all of my questions. The home was perfect for my WVU football game bound family. We had a 3 year old up to a 72 year old and there was space for all in this Country setting. We all enjoyed our stay and we will be back!! Thank you
