Aspetta di vedere i panorami che ti sveglierai in questa proprietà unica nel suo genere con vista sull'oceano e sul famoso Elkhorn Slough!Arroccata su una scogliera a metà strada tra Monterey e Santa Cruz, immersa tra campi di lattuga e fragole, questa casa ranch degli anni '50 regala splendide vedute sulle zone umide delle maree: un paradiso per uccelli, lontre, foche e altri animali selvatici. Da qui puoi pescare, osservare le balene, andare in kayak o esplorare alcune delle spiagge più private della California, ma sei a pochi minuti da Moss Landing, una pittoresca cittadina sulla spiaggia nota per i grandi ristoranti di pesce, i caffè e le gallerie. Entra e scendi nel soggiorno con vista sull'oceano con un divano in pelle e sedie che si affacciano su un grande camino. Immediatamente adiacente, la camera familiare ha un secondo camino, una grande TV, un tavolo da gioco per quattro persone e l'accesso a un cortile in mattoni con sedie per rilassarsi e una pergola per l'ombra. C'è anche un cortile erboso e un secondo patio con un sezionale imbottito e un barbecue a gas Genesis. La storia della proprietà come casa di lavoro in un ranch è evidente nell'arredamento rustico della metà del secolo: miglia di pannelli in sequoia, piastrelle vintage e ampio uso di mattoni e pietra per lastricare. La cucina in stile ranch ha un tavolo da pranzo per otto (con anta), un piano cottura elettrico a cinque fuochi, forni doppi integrati e un frigorifero in stile ristorante. Un secondo frigorifero con congelatore superiore si trova nella lavanderia adiacente, che funge anche da seconda cucina di preparazione. La casa ha cinque camere da letto e quattro bagni completi (quattro camere da letto e tre bagni nella casa principale e un cottage per gli ospiti più bagno nella parte posteriore). La master suite - con vista sul giardino, sull'oceano e sull'estuario - ha un letto king size, una specchiera area, ampi armadi e un bagno privato con doccia e vasca "walk-in". La palestra adiacente ha una sbarra da balletto integrata (porta i tuoi tappetini!).Le altre tre camere da letto (Queen, Double e due doppie XL) condividono due bagni completi con doccia: uno si trova nella hall; l'altro è adiacente alla cucina e alla lavanderia. Il cottage privato per gli ospiti ha un letto matrimoniale, TV, sedia in pelle, posto vicino al finestrino e angolo cottura. Ci sono posti a sedere al bar per due persone con una gamma elettrica a quattro fuochi, un frigorifero di dimensioni dell'appartamento e una piccola caffettiera Cuisinart. Situato alla fine del viale alberato di palme, questa è la casa perfetta per gli amanti della vita all'aria aperta e un'ottima base per esplorare tutte le meraviglie naturali della penisola di Monterey. Sono forniti via cavo e WiFi, ma a causa della distanza dalla torre della cella più vicina, la velocità di Internet potrebbe non essere adatta allo streaming. We all agree that this property was one of the best ever after meeting every year for 35 years. Clean, spacious, incredible views, interesting walk to the beach, and Elkhorn Slough boat ride. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect family get away

This was the perfect house/property for our family gathering. Everyone, all ages, had a great time. Plenty of space, very clean, & beautiful scenery. Great location that gave you privacy, but still close to all the main attractions. Looking forward to coming back again!

Don’t miss the opportunity to vacation here!

What a wonderful home and great place for morning family time before going to one of the many beaches, hikes, kayaking, shopping, parks, or just exploring. And then return in the evening to a spacious kitchen for family dinners and watching the sunset over moss landing. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun family vacation.

Great Place in Moss Landing

The house is amazing. Lots of room for my wife, grown kids and grandchild. The guest house is a nice private space. We explored Monterey, Santa Cruz and Carmel.

Everything was wonderful about this home. Inside—plenty of space to spread out and wonderful spaces to be together. Great yard for dogs, beautiful landscaping. So relaxing. We will definitely be back.

The house was perfect for a friends get together. The view from the living room and dining room had us grabbing our binoculars all the time. The house was great and spread out. The beds were comfortable. We had a great time.

Excellent place for small groups

We had a group of six. Bedrooms and bathrrom accommodations were perfect. The property is gorgeous and the location is about 30 mins from seaside/Monterey. Property Manager is responsive in case of issues. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property in a Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Capurro Ranch. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the views from the property were nothing short of amazing. The location is great; secluded enough to feel private but still close to restaurants and activities. The birdwatchers in our group had plenty to get excited about. The property manager was responsive and easy to work with. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful, large secluded house

Amazing views and lots of different options for sleeping including a separate cottage with kitchenette and a large yoga room for kids to play Or dancers to dance in or Yogi’s to stretch in. all the dishes,pots, and pans needed were there. close to kayaking paddle boarding hiking and beach. No neighbors! We had a great time!

Relaxing Stay

We thoroughly loved our visit to the Capurro Ranch. It was a beautiful, comfortable home. Very quiet, very clean. Lots of parking. Easy rules to follow. Very little to do before checkout - I really appreciate this. It’s necessary to drive everywhere but very close (driving distance) to beach, kayak rentals, restaurants, fruit stands. Close to Monterey and Carmel for day visits - so much to do. Can’t wait to return!

great location….

This is the cleanest house I have ever rented. As large as this house is, it was immaculate and beautiful! The only problem I had was the height of everything. I am only 4’11” and couldn’t reach much in the kitchen. My family very much enjoyed our stay and would like to plan another stay here, the groundscwere amazing!!!!!!

Awesome Experience

The home exceeded our expectations! The location was beautiful and I didn't expect the seclusion and privacy it offered; close to attractions in the area. The home was beautiful, well stocked and offered a setting that allowed us not to get in each other's way. Guys watching t.v., kids working puzzles and playing board games (provided by the host). Also separate area for the adults that wanted to just kick back and enjoy the great view. The guest house was a real +. If I could have, I would have rated our experience a "10"! Will be back again!!

Great visit on the Elkhorn Slough!

We loved this house! It’s utterly unique, both in location and design. The adjacency and views of the Elkhorn Slough are spectacular! We saw sea otters, seals, and thousands of birds through the windows in the dining and living rooms. We hiked and kayaked. We visited breweries and wineries. We spent a day at the Monterey Aquarium. We cooked great meals, played fun board games, and enjoyed family time. We used the grill and fire pit, very nice. We wished a bit for more king beds (we were four couples), but that’s a very minor issue. We give this house the highest marks!!!

Location Location Location

Capurro Ranch is a stunning home set in an incredibly picturesque setting. While there was so much to do in the area, one could literally spend a day or two just hanging out at this house enjoying the view all day. The view is beautiful from all angles and needs some time to take in. Bring your binoculars!Our group was fairly large and this sprawling home was more than comfortable for the lot of us. There is even a mini dance studio we used for dance parties for our kids. The kitchen is very well equipped which is good because we cooked most of our meals. The home owner was gracious enough to stop by to say hi and make sure we were enjoying everything, but did not intrude.When you do feel like leaving the property there is lots of outdoor activities to do at the beach or in Elkhorn Slough. Moss Landing and the area has some good restaurant options so you won't be stuck in the car too long when out for the day.

Lovely home

We enjoyed a great 3 days with two other couples. The grounds are beautiful. "Secret gardens", succulent plant gardens and paths. The views are out one direction to the slough/bay, and the other to the strawberry fields. The home sits all by itself on a spit of land between slough and strawberry fields. Very quiet and private. A bit difficult to find off Hwy 1. The home is dated, circa 1970's? Dark paneling, etc. Some upgrades - flooring, counter tops etc. However has a cozy feel. Overall we really enjoyed and recommend!

Short, lovely visit to Moss Landing

We went to Moss Landing to kayak in the estuary and enjoy some family time. We found this house to be perfectly suited to our needs - there were ten of us (two children) plus a dog. It's a beautiful house with tons of space and more built-in storage than any of us had ever seen! The "dance studio" was our granddaughters' favorite room. Lots of kitchen amenities, many fireplaces (we only used one), beautiful views of the gardens and estuary from inside the house. It's not actually *at* the beach - I missed that small detail when booking - but it's a 2 minute drive to get there, it's close to kayaking outfitters and several casual restaurants, and only 30 minutes from the Monterey wharf. Michael was very responsive when I had questions about the property, and Frank came by and shared some of his family's history as we were checking out. We've driven past this property many times over the years without noticing it - now we all look forward to staying again.

Wonderful Home

This home was truly wonderful for our two families, with 3 young adult children (16, 18 and 21). We were able to spread out and relax within the home while still enjoying being together. The home feels mid-century modern, but very up to date. We took advantage of multiple seating areas and the private backyard. The kitchen was spacious and easy to navigate. We used both the grill and the fire pit. I appreciated having the second refrigerator (with an ice maker) as we brought a lot of food for multiple family meals. I also appreciated the 5 gallon water dispenser - not something you find in vacation rentals and it was greatly appreciated. We did the 1/2 mile walk to the beach several time and also drove over to the state beach next door. We rented kayaks in Moss Landing and enjoyed seeing the house from the water. Easy drive to Monterey. The house is easy to find, private and centrally located. At night we could hear the faint roar of the ocean in the distance. We had no need for interaction with the staff. The house was very clean. Check in and check out were a breeze.
