“It met my expectations, if you consider the price. The only thing that didn’t quite match my expectation was for breakfast options. That may be expedia’s fault in picking up on the wrong info about the property. The breakfast is only instant coffee , some fruits and super basic pastry. Which would have been just fine if it was clearer when booking ”

“Stayed one night when attending a wedding in the castle. Can only recommend on my visit. Looked after by Cathy from arrival until breakfast next morning. Had dinner at Crown hotel a few mins from hotel and 10% discount on food was applied for hotel guests. Mind flash the key fob to let them know before the bill is on table. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast was served and tea/ coffee top ups were no trouble if asked for. Recommend the Kirkstyle if staying in the area.”

“Bit out of the way and really difficult to get a taxi back to at night. Rooms are pretty basic and ok if you are just looking to crash. Be prepared for the staunch rangers pub where they let the rooms from.”

“Ottima posizione con affaccio sul parco. Stanza piccola ma confortevole e silenziosa. Servizi con solita mancanza di bidet ma compensati da una ottima e grande doccia. Letto confortevole. Colazione eccellente in locale attorniato dai bei quadri di Ian Gray. Siamo arrivati prestissimo e ripartiti tardi, e così abbiamo apprezzato che ci abbiano custodito i bagagli prima di avere avuto stanza o dopo averla lasciata. Che dire? Consigliato ”
