Tranquil Lakefront Cottage w dock su incontaminato Long Pond dal Parco nazionale di Acadia

Pinon Cottage è immerso in un ambiente boschivo privato su Long Pond, uno stagno preferito su Mount Desert Island per la canoa, il kayak, il nuoto, la pesca e l'ascolto degli svarenti residenti. Completa con il suo molo sul laghetto, ampio ponte con comodi posti a sedere, vasca idromassaggio e schermato in veranda, questo cottage è il rifugio perfetto per allontanarsi da tutto. All'interno troverete arredi e biancheria di qualità. Con la sua posizione centrale sull'isola, non sei mai troppo lontano da nessuno dei villaggi dell'isola, dal parco nazionale di Acadia, dalle escursioni sul monte Beech o dalla raccolta di prodotti freschi alla Beech Hill Farm.

DISPOSIZIONE:
Livello principale: una passerella dal vialetto conduce a una grande veranda con tavolo da ping pong. Da lì, entra nella casa in una grande stanza con un muro di finestre e porte che si affacciano sul lago. Accoppiato con il legno caldo sui pavimenti e sul soffitto, questo crea uno spazio molto luminoso e invitante. Il soggiorno con comodi posti a sedere e un grande televisore a parete è aperto a una zona pranzo con un tavolo che può ospitare otto, e una cucina con un'isola che ha due sgabelli. Oltre la cucina è un bagno completo con doccia e una lavatrice / asciugatrice accatastabile. Successivamente troverete una camera da letto con due letti a castello (1 con un rotelle).
Livello superiore: scale all'ingresso anteriore portano ad una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale e un bagno ½. La camera da letto ha una finestra che si affaccia sul soggiorno, che ha un ombra per la privacy. Una grande finestra e lucernario forniscono molta luce. Se ne hai bisogno, in questa stanza c'è un'unità AC.
All'esterno: le porte tra la zona giorno e la zona pranzo conducono a un grande ponte con mobili confortevoli e una vasca idromassaggio. Alla base del ponte è un lavaggio dei piedi e troverete una doccia esterna sul lato della casa. Prendi il breve sentiero fino al molo e goditi l'acqua!

Thank you for hosting such a wonderful property! We look forward to our yearly visit to this specific home because it is modern, beautiful, spotless, and always well maintained. Communication with the property manager has always been fantastic. The location is stunning! We love the privacy and peacefulness, but appreciate the easy access to ANP. The home itself has everything needed to accommodate our family, and the hot tub, pingpong table, bunks, and kayaks are favorites of our girls. We can’t wait to visit again next year:) Thank you!

Quiet lakeside cottage

This is our 2nd time staying at Piñon Cottage. We love how peaceful and quiet it is surrounded by woods yet right by the beautiful lake. We hiked the Acadia trails everyday and loved getting in the hot tub to soothe our aching joints. The 1st floor of the cottage is a great hang out place with a big TV and comfy couch. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a nice big dining table. The location is so great beacause Southwest Harbor is close for eating out or going to the grocery store. Easy to get to Acadia trails. We hope to return again.

Wonderful Property!

What a Gem

Sometimes I find something so good I selfishly want to keep it to myself. That’s how this place felt. Location was incredible, close to everything, the lake is pristine and the perfect temperature water. My family and I made amazing memories here. Just Paradise

The minute we opened the door and stepped into the cottage there was a group gasp at how beautiful the house was and view of the lake took our breath away. A perfect vacation with swimming and kayaking from the dock, families of ducks eating out of our hands, eating meals prepared in the well equipped kitchen and best of all, having an early sunrise coffee while listening to the loons sing their mournful song on the lake. Sheer paradise.

“Awesome sauce!” (So say the grandkids)

Both the home and location were magnificent. We enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the lake, swimming, kayaking, and fishing. So serene. And, during the day, the location provided easy access to our favorite Acadia adventures. The kitchen was stocked with absolutely everything we needed including great coffee to enjoy on the deck. Wonderful private cottage

The cottage was everything that was promised. Location, location, location. The perfect place to split Bar Harbor and Southwest Harbor. It has such a wonderful private, secluded feel. The Ability to have canoes and kayaks they are ready to use was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone seeking to get away and relax.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin on the lake. Check in was super easy and the cabin clean. Our four boys loved the kayaks, ping pong, and fishing in the lake. We would certainly stay again if we get in the area!

Great property

We had a wonderful stay! The owner and property manager were very accommodating when we asked last minute to add another night on when our plans changed. The property is lovely, well stocked and represented very appropriately. We definitely preferred this side (quiet side) of the island but you can get anywhere in 20 min. The kids loved fishing the lake! Would come back!

Peaceful cabin in the woods

The tranquil lakeside cabin was perfect for our long weekend on Mount Desert Island. We were able to relax in the private hot tub after a day of exploring and kitchen table was a great location for family games. Since we were visiting 2 weeks before the Island fully opens for the summer season it was great to be able to cook in the well stocked kitchen. On our second night the clouds cleared and we caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights from the dock! I loved the all wooden interior and large windows overlooking the deck towards the lake. we were pleasantly surprised with the half bath off the master bedroom, this makes it easier for a small family to have a second toilet. Overall this is a great cottage for a couple or small family and the outdoor space is fabulous!

Perfect cabin for an Acadia trip

This cabin was beautiful! It was even better than the pictures! The deck was incredible and the walk to the lake very short (you see the lake through the trees). It was such a peaceful place to stay and we wished we could have stayed longer than the extended weekend. We didn’t use the kitchen because our stay was so short, but it appeared to have everything you could want in order to cook some great meals. Plenty of glasses, plates, etc for a larger group. The queen bed was very comfortable and the decor very tasteful. We didn’t need the “bunk room”, but it was spacious as well. The location is perfect for access to all Acadia and the island has to offer, as well as just 20 minutes to Bar Harbor for shops and restaurants. We had such a fun long weekend and this cabin was an amazing spot for us to stay!

Wonderful restful vacation- Already wishing to come back soon

We had an amazing time at this house. Space fantastic- backyard on water. Very clean & organized. Extra towels available - for showers & hot tub. Kitchen well stocked. Location cannot get any better. It was so peaceful at night to have the HUGE hot tub and watch the stars and have snacks. The deck is very well organized. and the Dock is also so much fun- we loved to watch the kayaks and the water in the morning over coffee. We didn't have enough days to use the lake (BUT!! the owners generously supplied a canoe and Kayak for use). Honestly cannot get any better than this house. Wish we had more time off a work. Only tiny incontinence - No shower/tub upstairs master bathroom. But honestly was not a problem because this was our romantic getaway. As long as the place has two separate bathrooms - it is fantastic in my opinion. Impeccably clean bathrooms completely stocked with tons extra towels- Big Big Big plus for us. The place has a great washer & dryer (Full size). But we do not like small tiny towels or it can be time consuming to keep washing/drying towels. It's just as important to us to have a great place to stay (clean & safe) as the perfect destination. We enjoyed this tremendously. We plan on making this a tradition for us to come and see the Fall foliage. and definitely a MUST- stay at this house. and hopefully get more time off work- to spend some extra time at house and on that beautifully amazing lake. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

Great Stay

Loved my visit to this delightful cottage on Long Pond... even in a hurricane. Great cottage. Nice sheets, towels, etc. Super to sit on the dock with coffee in the a.m. Good swimming and kayaking! Great location for access to Acadia.
