“This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. Breakfast was in a room by the lobby and did not vary for the almost 4 weeks we were there. “My stay at El Conquistador was fabulous from the moment I arrived. The staff that checked us in were attentive and informative. One thing to keep in mind is that the nearest parking lot may not be located close to your room, requiring a bit of a walk. “The room was clean with all the expected amenities. The bed was very comfortable, the A/C worked great. I love the onsite cafe. The pool looked inviting and the deck was clean with nice lounge chairs. Breakfast was very good - scrambled eggs, link sausages, potatoes and make your own waffles. Only one suggestion : This is Tucson, AZ! Please provide salsa as an option for scrambled eggs. I would LOVE a side of green chile, (I’m from NM) but I’m sure that’s asking too much. 😎👍”

As far as condition, there was heavy miniral scale deposits all in the shower on head and handle and walls. The original glass shoqet doors have been replaced with budget shower curtains that let water all over the floor and make a slip hazard getting out. “Nice room, we had a three night stay, in a two room suite, quite. Be aware in this suite bedroom, AC is literally inches from right had side of bed so if on, it blows right on bed. Breakfast included with stay, just wish these people would cook eggs instead of serving egg mush.”
